Started well, bombs a couple of good chances. Eels got a heap of set restarts that gave them momentum. The power game good at the start but not sustainable across the whole half. We have points in us though so plenty of hope for second half

Luc was a bit slow.
We lack speed on the edges. Luciano, Suli and Tuipolotu on one side is pedestrian. On the other, Su'a is good but is on too much coin for what he offers. Holmes has lost alot of pace and Setu is powerful but again lacks speed. Then we have Gutho at fullback who has the turning speed of the Queen Mary. Its all well and good to have big units carrying the ball out of defence but collectively they are a liability offensively and defensively.

Kyle with his typical getting caught with the ball 5m out. No running effort on the Da Silva try and then an unnecessary sideways run when we just finished defending pretty well with a man down.

If he is picked for experience and consistency over being a points maker, then it can't be justified any longer.

A good effort by the team.

This team does things to my brain that I can't comprehend.
Any other side that dominated the middle like we did puts 20+ points on.
Our momentum shift was the Couchie hip drop and now we're gassed.
So.
f**king.
Typical.

Considering the harsh bin, still in this.

What one week makes when you are the Storm, not one but two.

Go to get the momentum back like the first 20 minutes.

I think once again its a blatant stitch up with the 6 agains. We can barely get one yet parra are getting heaps. Its not the difference in the tackling styles either. We get pinged by every ref every week. Whats the difference between Couchman this week and 2 Melbourne tackles last week. So sick of watching one sided refereeing

Half time break gets our energy back, recover from 12 men. Comes at the right time tbh.

a few crap passes and the sin bin (especially the Holmes pass on tackle 2 when we were on their line and 1 man down, should have been control time) really changed our momentum. Kerr miss tackle was really bad too, considering he was only 10-15 mins on the field, shouldn’t have been gassed And the penalty try was total bs
