Sad sad day. I saw him at wollongong entertainment center when he performed with Heaven and Hell. Great performer and a great person away from the music.

One of the biggest inspirations in my music world. Loved him in Sabbath, Rainbow, Solo, everthing. Gutted when i heard the news.

Holy Diver on max, and a glass of Jack on the rocks to toast the great man is needed. :)

Pete Steele of Type O Negative died the other week also, thats 2 of my fave singers dead. This sucks Especially as bad news comes in threes...:(

what annoys me a little is when people always talk abpout RJD in relation to the Heaven and Hell album, imo Mob rules sh*ts all over it, not to say Heaven and hell isn't good, but Mob Rules is very underrated - Sign of he the southern cross is an epic song.

going to have a drink as a salute to him now, and wish that music returns to what it was, instead of enduring more sh*thouse OZ music groups.

I actually prefer the Dehumanizer album he did when he re-joined the band later on. After all, I, TV Crimes etc. are all brilliant rock tracks.

Thought his Rainbow stuff was the best, his voice with Blackmores guitar work was simply brilliant.
