I like the look of Foster starting with Kasiano and Tolman. Lots of hard workers with some power and meters in them. Also, Foster is very skilful and his ball work will be something to look out for.

The bench has impact with Pritchard, Roberts and Paea but Payne shouldn't be there IMO. I would have Browne, Millington and Halatau in front of him.

Hopefully when Eastwood comes back we'll have a better looking side but after thinking it over and really looking at the side since it was named, I'm happy with it

Browne is injured and Taupau is not 100% - both will push for a spot

Millington has to prove himself first and Halatau is very small and we already have Roberts on the bench

Good side, when Eastwood is fit he should come in for Payne and I can see that being our best 17. happy for Kasiano and Foster, hope the young fellas rip in

Are Kasiano & Foster gonna stay in the run-on side, or are they just filling in?

They will be staying in as far as I know.

Foster would have been a regular last year had he not sustained a season ending injury.

Kasiano has been our best prop in the trials against your mob, Roosters & Canberra. I was
expecting/hoping he would be named on the bench. Guess he has earned a shot in the run on team.

Yep.

Also having Eastwood replace Payne on the bench would mean we'll have 2 really good impact players off the bench.

Also quite surprised Roberts got arsed to the bench in place of Keating. Would've preferred Keating to start as a replacement hooker!

Foster VS Ellis
Kasiano starting straight from under 20s? Moore likes a gamble

Advantage Tigers on paper

Though if you throw Tandy & Eastwood into that pack it looks a hell of a lot stronger!
Armits a solid toiler, think his work is underrated, would have thought he would have got a bench spot infront of Payne.

Lets hope Keating has improved since his parra days

The Dogs bench looks like one of the strongest in the league, but tigers are strong off the bench also

Dogs will need to keep it close until the first few interchanges, the starting Tigers pack is stronger

Kasiano played in every trial from memory. He was also destroying kids in Toyota Cup toward the end of last year, almost "men against boys" type situation. He'll fare well in NRL IMO.

Millington over Payne?

Now that explains a few things
It explains a lot? lol you douche, Millington was one of the Sharks best forwards last year and before you say "it's the Sharks" he was playing alongside the likes of Paul Gallen, Kade Snowden and Luke Douglas who were all outstanding.

Fair point on Taupau and Browne. I knew Taupau had a minor leg injury but didn't know Browne would still be out by round 1.

I agree with this very much, especially if big Sam performs well.

Grant Millington for the dogs was a depth signing and nothing else ... regardless of how good people thought he was at Cronulla. Our style differentiates a lot compared to the Sharks style, plus we already have a player like him in the squad.

And is far less skilled. I played alongside Millington in high school (true story), he's twice the player Warburton is.

LOL.. Warburton is a completely different player to Millington.

First of all, Millington has a lot more experience. Second of all, Millington is a prop/second rower and Warburton is a a lock/utility. Lastly, Warburton can defend and that's it. Millington has the running game, the defence and the skill.

I agree that they are not very similar in playing styles.

I disagree with the comments that Millington is better than Warbuton or that Warburton is only a defender. I guess time will tell but if he can just find the final piece of the puzzle he could turn his good lines in to line breaks.

At this stage they are both solid options and nothing more.

I'm tipping the Dogs to win and I think they will be in the hunt of things come finals time.
Can't believe Millington is not in you 17.
Is Frankie playing? Heard he may not. Hope so. One of my favourite players and always in my fantasy teams.
Good luck Doggie fans.

Obviously the coaching staff don't agree with you. What's that tell you?

Just because you may like Millington as a player doesn't all of a sudden make him a top notch player. There is a reason why a lot of people forget to mention his name when talking of bulldog recruits.

Millington at best is a solid player, just like the better solid players in the NRL line up this week as well as some players in the NSW Cup line up this week.

When we first brought millington, I said straight away "mist be to build up the NSW cup team", this week Millington is playing in the NSW cup. That much is fact, the rest is up to Millington to prove you correct and me wrong. I hope he does prove me wrong the more great players at the dogs the better, I doubt he will though.

Warburton isn't playing FG either.
