The issue this season imo is that unlike the last 4-5 years no one is having a bumper season to mask the cracks in our team. Mullen, Aku, Gidley and Boyd have for the last few years mask the cracks in our team and now that none are having bumper years the deficiencies are crystal clear. We have for a long time been mentally weak and lazy in defense and clueless in attack and the fact Bennett has been unable to fix this is very concerning.

Well you only have to go back a couple of weeks to find the evidence of people on here saying exactly that. There were genuine arguments that it does not happen, and one of the pieces of evidence cited was that he's in the top ten for running metres...though conspicuously no mention of how many runs he actually makes in an average game was included with the argument. I was dumbfounded to sat the least, given Gagai being driven back is one of the more reliable trends in an NRL match.

There's just too many dubious campaigners in our team. They'll all have a crack at letting you down when necessary.

Oh man, imagine if we had a forward or 2 like Matulino.

Do we have a single decent impact player in our team? I would argue Uate, BJ and Cuthbertson are the closest we have. Uate & BJ are up and down a lot, and Cuthbertson is leaving.

I mean seriously when you look at our team who do you actually have a reasonable expectation of to break through the line.

Ha ha ha. How bad are they? Utter rubbish. Never have i cared less about a team from this city. Same rubbish every week. Time to bring in a bunch of U 20s and see if they are up to it. If they play with heart i could not give a rats about the results! The mental strength of this side is humiliating. Get to within 4 and then fall to bits.

Beauty ! another loss and certainly not unexpected as the team has just collapsed this year.
They just can not score points and as soon as someone makes a mistake or an opposing team puts up any pressure bang that's it they shut up shop.

I did not watch it today mainly for the fact I can't stand the commentary of any game played out of NZ via Foxsports.

The sooner they get the ownership thing sorted and presumably clean the join out the better. But as they "re-build" yet again it really is just an infuriating game of patience and hope fully one day they will have a squad that can compete.
