Just heard Mullen talking on the radio, he sounds as if the care factor is gone and he's just completely over it. Something has to give with this team soon.

Flukey tries off the bomb got them back in the game. Our ridiculous handling then sealed it for them. Second half was just a joke territory-wise.

Bennett has to go. Sucked the life out of the team, and his recruitment of "experienced" players hasn't paid off.

Move him on, put a broom through the joint (or drop a bomb on it), and start from scratch

For only the second time I can remember (last week was the first) I haven't watched the game nor chased a score.

Seems it was the right call. Kudos for you lot in putting yourself through it, I can't do it.

Same old story it looks like. Seems a lot more pain to be endured, just wonder where all our bad karma is coming from.

How good is it when two of your best players in Mullen and McManus are just stinking it up something shocking. Trying to fit in with the rest of the team I guess.

Seems par for the course this year, anything that can go wrong is.

Seems like we're that deep in the shit all over the place that a broom might be the only option at this point.

Mullo's been woeful since he got injured in the pre season. I'd say that's another thing impacting on the terrible form of the whole team. When your main playmaker isn't firing generally the whole team suffers from it.

Big decision for the new structure, keep Bennett or not?

Even if they can afford to, do they keep him?

On balance I say yes, make him fix the mess he has created. But someone needs to have a heart to heart with him and see whether he is up for the challenge, if not then its time to move on.

The bloke never wants to pay overs, he now needs to pull some massive coups.

On the team, it's now time a few of the old hard headed former players to sit the team down and tell them a few home truths.

Shut attitude. Feel free to not watch in the future when things turn and we win our next comp whenever that is

He's well within his rights to feel the way he does. I feel exactly the same.

The players don't care, so why should we?

f**k I'd love to see Bennett walk out now and Stone to come in to tell Mullen and Roberts to just have fun with the footy. The only good thing he has done for either of them is give them the confidence to pick themselves up after failing but that's been ripped away with this diabolical season. He essentially removed the one thing that kept us somewhat competent in the years before he came. Going one up the middle no longer works and he refuses to admit it.

I disagree the players don't care.

Me too. Huge assumption to make. Our line speed was great tonight. If the players had stopped caring they wouldn't be trying as hard as they did tonight in defence.

Roosters got 2 lucky tries from kicks, one because McManus (who was playing out of position) missed a crucial tackle, and one at the end off a massive forward pass after it no longer mattered.

I know we're all in wrist slitting mode where hyperboles a common, but saying shit like "well the players don't care so why should I?" based off a player's tone during an interview is completely ridiculous.

If we finish with the spoon (which is looking increasingly likely) it would be almost the ideal time to move Bennett on.

At least it would mean the new coach (whoever it may be) couldn't do any worse.

Bennett said when he came here he was going to make us into a consistent footy side on a weekly basis. Well he's certainly done that - we're consistently bad.

Never pays overs? Most of our team are on overs, $400k a pop for Snowden, Boyd and Gidley, $500k for the 6th best winger in the game, $500k for Beau Scott (don't get me wrong he's a good player but certainly not worth $500k). Bloke has done nothing but pay overs his whole time here.
I gave Bennett the benefit of the doubt until a few weeks ago but I think the old fellas had his day, the game is about adaptation and innovation and he hasn't got either in him.

If the players cared they'd make more of an effort to hang into the ball instead of giving it away so easily.
