No offense mate. But do you watch the games closely? Again…no offense intended by this post. If you do watch closely, I’d like to understand why you don’t get the Sloan hatred. (Hatred is a harsh word. Let’s just say we’re all frustrated watching him.)
I think we all want Sloan to meet his potential, and we are all frustrated that he just cannot seem to improve at a reasonable rate. He is better than last year, he has improved, but it isn't enough to deny CT or Lawson.

This is not a bad situation for Sloan going back to cup. He can't get comfortable in NRL that much is clear, now obviously. One thing I could see this year was we have a heap of competition on the wing. Rava was taken by Souths but even then, depending on how we want to play. There are strengths amongst the wing options. We are a big team, I think Flanagan just wants to maintain that for now. Lawson fits right into that slot. Sloan needs to be freakishly good in attack, to make up for his issues in defence and backfield hit ups.

I’m done with this pea heart Sloan. Can the bros from the bunnies take Sloan as well. All Sloan has is speed, can’t tackle , can’t break a tackle. Can’t set up a try. Can’t catch a bomb. f**k him off to the bunnies. We have SAINT GUTHO !!!

Sloans problem seems to me to be two things, 1 is confidence, the other is concentration.
His errors seem to me to be a lack of concentration. A few games back he just fumbled in the in goal and luckily Gutho was there to clean up. Had he had been the fullback and last line of defence then it would have resulted in a try. The fumbles, the drops balls, the seemingly lack of engagement is surely a concentration thing.
And his confidence seems to take a beating after an error, he has really bad games thrown in with the odd really good game.
I’d like to see him dominate at reserve grade for 8 weeks straight every game before he gets another look, can’t be one good game every 3 or 4.

While I am disappointed Tyrell was dropped I completely understand it, he has had a lot of opportunity over multiple seasons and yes, he has developed but only slowly and he hasn’t reached the level others are now at. I had a romantic hope he would become our modern day Ted Goodwin who was also brilliant but also flakey at times and didn’t shine consistently until 1977 when he was a magic ingredient in that premiership team. Not to be it seems, the coach has spoken and now it’s all in Tyrell’s court.

Sloan, Dufty, Field. They were all fast. The lower grade sprint coach is very good. The lower grade 'let's get them ready for first grade' coach, not so.

Yeah mate. We all want him to be a superstar. That way, we will win more games. I hope I am wrong, but I don't see it happening,

Sloan probs needs a fresh environment, maybe a change of clubs will do him good. He won't have to carry pressure & expectation from Dragons fans/club/local area. I also think he's a poorer version of Daine Laurie & to an extent Charlie Stains. I think his ceiling as a winger is a poorer version of AJ, tbh he would suit ESL. Basically not 1st grade standard.

If he's serious about NRL then he'll rip into the NSW cup & training. The gulf between his good & bad is far too great, especially considering the immense depth in the wing position at NRL level & strong depth in the FB position across the league. He's also a bit one dimensional atm in a team that doesn't utilise his strength which is speed.

If CT can recapture his awesome form & Lawson can back up on his great debut on a consistent basis then we've got a very good back 5. Love the competitiveness that both CT & Lawson bring to this side, hope it fires up the team. Lawson fitness & natural competitive instincts resulted in strong carries late into the game. I'm pumped for this game.

There's something wrong with our team, and has been for years. First it was Widdop, then Hunt, now Gutho. The rest of the team waits for these players to 'turn it on'. If we win, these players generally get Man of the Match. How come no other player seems to think 'today it's me' and have a red hot go? Lately, I can only think of Lomax, Homes, Sua, JDB and CT who have played a bit like they are trying to win the game single handedly. Why? Last week we saw a 19 year old winger on the other side have a red hot go. Where's our guys?

What a mission it’s been to try and find this rounds feed The website is pissing me off and keeps confirming if I’m human. And normally when new post/comments get uploaded the talked about topic goes to the top. Hasn’t happened since Sunday on the website..

Anyway, few changes to the squad.
I do think RFM will start with Luciano coming off the bench again then when he does, he will probably push Toby to the front row. Though I did think Toby played well on an edge.
PIA - my so called updated new posts has "Finau Latu's Move to Canterbury Bulldogs" as the thread with the most recent post.

Had to do multiple "Thread Name" searches to find R14 Dolphins
Even now the thread never appears on my 'recent' list

I'm sure there are other discussions I have no idea about.

It would be nice if someone would notify us that the issue has been recognised and they were trying to fix it.

But - To be fair, I wouldn't see the post!
