Totally agree with the total football analogy. You've got Morris in the halves who could easily be a lock given how much he runs the ball, Farah at half or hooker, ball playing backrowers, centres playing in the forwards, a front-rower/winger, a half back in a front rowers body and a young and mobile bench.

best not to get too carried away, it was only 2 weeks ago we got smeared by the bronx.
it was an entertaining game, but mentally penrith fell apart in the 41st minute.

Elliot must of given one of his famous "This ones in the bag guys" half time speeches. He is slowly but surely being revealed. Don't worry though Panther fans. This is only year one of his five year plan, there are still plenty of good juniors for him to let go.

He is letting go some of the old blokes to give the youngsters ago. He has identified 22 juniors from the ages of 15-18 who have the potential to be first graders.

The 6 big guns from that list are Wade Graham,Daniel Penese, Greg Waddell,Lachlan Coote,Matthew Wright and Sam Mckendry.

Will they be allowed to play there natural game or become Elliotoids?

Elliott took over from John Lang at the start of 2007, and Priddis said several playmakers had been told in the pre-season to reel in their natural games under the new coach's style.

"At the start of the year, the more creative players were told that we need to put our tricks away in our bags in order to try and get the structure Matty wanted us to play," Priddis said.

"Most of the boys have gone away from their natural game and are playing the way that he wanted, and that's what I thought I was doing.

"Whether that was to the detriment of my own personal game or whatever, you put the team first - and that's what I was doing."

Raiders fans defended him too, once.

The structure you are going on about is the same structure Elliott has brought to our lower grades. We are currently 2nd in PL and 1st in Flegg, and leading teh club championship.

That would have to probably be a record come from behind win for Wests Tigers, down 4-20 to get it back to 43 - 26....(33-6 2nd half)...payback for that nightmare that was 2000 where we led Penriff 31- 8 or something ridiculous and get run down 32-32

You're not on the ball with Les Murray old son. In 2001 Wests came back from a 24 margin against Newcastle to win at Campbeltown. Apparently one of the players found a new way of ingesting coke to celebrate.
