Not as confident about this as I was 2 weeks ago.

Hope we can put the Sharks comeback runs to an end.

RiseforAlex round hopefully will motivate us even more so we can do it for him. Any chance of him going to this game?

Winner of this game goes three in a row. Fight for the spoon intensifies!

This game obviously depends on which team turns up. If both teams turn up to play we should win easily.

I still think the sharks have just fluked it. Us by 24+

It's games like this I'm glad we have Bennett and the experienced players. Sharks will either fire early or again start slow but we'll be prepared for whatever comeback they launch.

That's our full strength team right? Well I'm looking forward to some quiet Sunday arvo beers and the footy.

Would rather see Houston dropped to NSW Cup for Tapine who swaps to 10 for Mason...but I don't think it's going to happen. Though ultimately I think we'd get more out of House than Mase.

I'll be curious how Mason goes. I keep hearing that his motor isn't what it was a year ago and that he's over the hill. I'm not completely convinced as he appears to be doing a lot of work off the ball that would definitely chew up a lot of gas. He charges up in defense and often charges at the support players who are a possibility of getting the ball. He appears to go flat out for periods and then he starts struggling to get back onside. The player whose motor I'm more concerned about is Snowden. When he's injured or suspended he appears to spend all his time at an all you can eat Pizza Hut. His speed and lateral movement is no where near where it was towards the end of last year.

If you've been watching him there have been games where he CANNOT get up off the ground quickly enough to get back to marker. So, the play moves on and he then can't get back on side ready for the next play the ball. It doesn't happen every tackle but it is happening enough for most in here to be talking about it.

For mine Snowden has never really been much different. He's been extremely slow since he arrived here.

Whenever there's a guy scrambling to get into marker position personally I prefer them to just do what Mason often does and just don't even bother trying. I know that sounds bad but I'd rather they do that then get in the way and get instantly penalized. The refs are always looking for stuff like that and the call always goes to the attacking side. Anyone who watches Farah knows sometimes he just throws the ball into one of the tacklers getting up and the refs fall for it hook, line and sinker.

Sort of a digression because that doesn't mean Mason isn't slowing down overall but in those situations I do prefer it when our guys play it smart in that play-the-ball area. Penalties are too costly these days.
