Pretty much this. Get some nice wins now as we build combinations and become a powerhouse for finals. We should have our entire team back(excluding season ending injuries) by finals. It's exciting.

It is why I couldn't get the amount of negativity about our attack etc. We haven't seen our proper side enough to judge either way. We get to the finals with this 17 and RCG...There is no excuses if we don't win it

It's great watching the league from Lang Park on TV. The camera angles are so superior to the rest of the comp because of the grounds design. Western Sydney Stadium will be similar for the crowds and TV audience as well.

Interesting article on NRL website about Stats broken up into quarters.
Brisbane score ferwest points in the 20mins before halftime.
Whereas the Panthers start badly ( -42 differential ) in the first 20 mins but then we come good for the rest of the match.

So if we can keep it close for the start of the game on Friday night. We should ( according to statistics ) come up with a win :)

Is zelezniak definitely playing or is Griffin throwing the dummy and playing luai at fullback seems quick for zelezniak to be back 1 week later after a hamstring tear

I think we are all wondering the same thing.

It could possibly be a way of stopping the Broncos from preparing too much before the game to target Luai. If they know a week out that Luai is definitely at the back, then presumably targeting him would be part of the game plan, and they probably have a slightly different game plan with DWZ at the back.

If we make that change late in the week, whilst of course they can still target Luai, they won’t have had as much time to prepare a game plan. They also won’t be as prepared for how he might attack.

Equally, it would be hard to prepare a game plan that targets Luai specifically given that he hasn’t played enough FG games for their to be enough footage of his game so that his weaknesses or attacking style can be studied and shut down.

Well so much for that idea. No idea what got me thinking that. I agree we should still be better.

They have a number of fantastic young forwards that have been getting talked about, a few are injured tho.

Sua, Pangai Jr, Paas look like big time talents. Ofhanghue is quite good also.

Dallin doubtful as is Maloney. They have to pass a fitness test tomorrow. From Gus's podcast it seems Jimmy is the more doubtful of the two.

I thought the same.

I suppose will we will find out after the captains run. The players seem to be bonding well together. The video of them in timezone was like watching grown ups get into their inner child and have fun.

Great idea actually.

Then it sounds like we will all get the Cleary show on Friday.

I'm excited.
