Read in Rabbit forum that someone was told Mullo is out. True or has source picked up a case of myxomatosis?

Is that bench for real or is Stone actually going to put three decent forwards on there today or is everyone else injured?

A Sportal article earlier in the week said Mullo was out but the Newcastle Knights website said yesterday that Stone said he expects him to play so take your pick lol

it will be errors that bring us undone. The rest will flow from there. I pray it is not a massacre.

NEWCASTLE playmaker Jarrod Mullen’s season is almost certainly over with the Knights star expected to opt for surgery on his troublesome toe next week that will sideline him for four months.
Mullen will miss tonight’s clash against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium after pulling up sore following training on Friday and is likely to see a specialist early next week to determine his immediate playing future.
He suffered the injury to the medial sesamoid bone in the ball of his right foot near his big toe in May with surgery the only way to repair the damage.
But rather than go under the knife immediately, Mullen ended up having 10 weeks off to allow the injury to settle down in a bid to get back on the field this season.
He made his return against Canberra earlier this month but has been a day to day proposition since then and the signs weren’t good when he limped off the training paddock at the end of the club’s Captain’s run on Friday.
In a forced reshuffle, Knights coach Rick Stone will move skipper Kurt Gidley from fullback to five-eighth with winger Jake Mamo the new fullback.
Chanel Mata’utia comes into the side to play his first NRL game this season on the wing.

I understand he was testing it but it is pretty clear that he was always going to struggle. If this adds another month of recovery Stone should be held to account along with his conditioning staff. It is incompetent and the injury he is talking about are season Enders as in total season. He won't be able to run until January at earliest. Oh and going by that timeline he would have maybe been right to go into pre season recovered fully. Instead they waited ten weeks, f###ed it totally and now we have surgery. If we were finals bound it would be worth the risk but we were done 6 weeks ago.

I'll think we can confidently say that this back line is right up there with the worst we've ever fielded.

Just realised that team list they posted on Instagram has been removed so hopefully it was wrong.
