Anyone reckon we can jag this one? I'm keeping the faith. Dymock will hopefully chance Benny in the halves this time allowing Turner and Idris to take stock at the back.

I know we probably won't make the finals, but I will be satisfied knowing we can prevent the Eels from making them. If we don't make it they don't make it either

Well we had 12 minutes of OK footy Friday night, jagging a couple of tries off kicks, if we can stretch that to 20 this week I'll be impressed.

We're just the team to get them back into form. They haven't been terrible really and are playing alot harder than us.

Finally, romelo is starting at hooker, it's about time. Although im not a fan of bringing iron man off the bench, hopefully halatau can do the job starting at lock

Lafai, Romelo and Reynolds Win Bandaged Bear Cup Call Ups

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs caretaker coach Jim Dymock has selected Tim Lafai, Joel Romelo and Josh Reynolds to make their NRL returns in Friday night's Bandaged Bear Cup clash against the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium.

Lafai has been selected in place of Josh Morris in the centres, Romelo has been named at hooker and Reynolds on the interchange bench for the clash.

Romelo's inclusion is his first NRL start of 2011 and means that Dene Halatau will start in his more familiar position of lock, with David Stagg shifting to the interchange bench.

Lafai has won selection ahead of Josh Morris, who will play NSW Cup, while Reynolds has taken the utility's spot on the NRL interchange bench.

In the Toyota Cup, TJ Taotua returns to the starting side in place of Lafai, who scored a try in the loss to the Warriors on Friday night.

Josh Gill replaces Lionel O'Mally at hooker, while recently selected Australian Schoolboys Leilani Latu, David Klemmer and Samisoni Langi have all been named on an extended interchange bench by coach Andy Patmore.

While Langi has played Toyota Cup before, Latu and Klemmer are in line to play their first matches in the national youth competition should they make the final 17.

In addition to Morris, the Bulldogs NSW Cup side has NRL players all over the park including recent first graders in Corey Payne, Grant Millington, Gary Warburton, Chris Armit, Michael Lett, Bryson Goodwin, Michael Hodgson, Mickey Paea and Jake Foster.

A lot better looking team, especially with Romelo at hooker.

But I don't see any reason to have dropped Morris. Apart from that, cool.

Agree; the media could have easily promoted it as a Hayne Vs. Payne clash.

To be honest i just want a star near my name LOL; after that I will most probably post less. Also it is my uni break so I do nothing all day(except gym) and then go out with mates at night.
