The way the club is taking about making Danny coach for the next 6 weeks, makes it obvious that the team realises we are no hope of making the finals....... So I see no benefit of naming this halves combination..... Neither player will be here /or in first grade next year.........and Mamo will be our first choice fullback..... So why not give him more experience there, put gidley in the halves and give lamb or crogger turns at tasting first grade so they can see where they/we are at

Rate Fitzgibbon.. But we now have 3 Backrowers on the bench... What on earth has Mataora and Vaivai done to get shafted this badly. If they were in over Houston and Newton I'd be happy.

If we had a Hooker who could do 80 mins I'd be giving Feeney a run. We;ll need a backup half next year.
Even now Feeney could come on and Gidley or Roberts to dummy half. They fill in a bit of it anyway.

Vai Vai's Motor just inst enough yet sadly, He has great impact in his runs but his motor at that level is only goof for 10-15mins and his defence suffers badly because of it. I'm surprised about Mataora, I did like what I see. Better than Fa'alongo

I think Vaivai offers more explosive runs, better offload ability and is more agile. Mataora seems very immobile - worse than Snowden.
