Probably one of the most frustrating games to watch this year. Just watching them bomb so many tries however, I guess it can be seen as a positive thing heading into next season. With proper halves, the passes would have stuck, players would have scored, would have opened the flood gates; then again that's been the case in plenty of games this year. I'm just glad we didn't put our heads down when we had multiple sets on their line and walked away with nothing. No matter the side, no matter their performance in the game it's been far too common for a side to march up the field and score.

Off the bottom of the ladder too. Titans don't have an easy run, same goes for the Panthers.

It was nice to finally see some intent and desire from them, even though our execution when attacking their line was poor. But that is to be expected when Tyrone and Gidley are in the halves. Really good signs from Mamo today setting up that try early and then kicking for a repeat set.

Yes it was the Tigers, but I felt our forwards were really good. In fact our forwards haven't been too bad all season, it's our backs and halves that have let us down most of the year.

Korbin sims will be a beast next year he's not even a prop but he bends the line and his leg drive is phenomenal. He's my favourite Knights player and i reckon he is already better than tariq.

I also thought mamo had his best game for us, he was mistake free and chimed in on a few backline movements showing he does have some ball playing ability, he just needs to work on the execution a bit, his kick returns were 100% full pace so he has no fear.

Our edge defence was still a bit of a worry.

Roberts had his best game of the season, Gidley was also pretty much derp free and I felt Randall offered more than Clydesdale today.

We should have won by more but we were held up 3 or 4 times.

Hopefully we can now stay away from the spoon

Credit to Newton. Had he put that up weekly Smith would never have sacked him.

Our future coach, whoever he is, would be excited by what he has to work with. Especially with Hodko being his organising half and Mullo getting a big rest.

I will be the tough task marker.

Yes it was a win and the Knights thoroughly deserved it but there are huge areas of improvement needed if we are to even be considered a top 8 next year.

1. There is no support when the forwards take a hit up.
2. There are no bodies in motion to ask questions of the defence
3. The defensive line is all over the place and is not straight most of the time
4. The rushing out of the defensive line is not working where the first 2 Tigers tries resulted from. It may be because it was again caused by our 2 worst defenders.
5. We have no width between our 1st and 2nd receiver which is causing us to not have the required overlap when the fullback chimes in.
6. Put some super glue on tariq's hands. It was awful.

I just cannot understand how our defence and defensive structure is so different to last year. Our coach next year needs to give priority to rectifying both the individual and team defensive structures next year.

This game was very reminiscent of the way we played in the first 4 rounds.

Behind at half time but steal the win due to effort and not making errors.
