Well, you don't need to be genius to know the 1 and 6 are going to be heavily targetted by Mlb. Dobbo in particular looked Dureau slow last week. Aku's side will see plenty of attack as well. This could be very ugly. Smith will tear us up around the ruck if Mason is going to lay around on the ground after making his tackles. It will have to be a monumental improvement to stay within 18 points of Mlb at home.

We will compete hard but eventually go down 1-12. Bit too much class for us at the moment, particularly in the spine at the moment obviously.

Their 1, 7 and 9 sh*ts on ours but the rest of the side matches up with ours. It's a shame these are the most important positions. Maybe Cronk and Smith will get injured and we'll only lose by 20 instead of 50.........

I so dearly hope we compete.

I don't see how the rest of their players match up with ours... We might have higher paid and higher profile players than the Storm in certain positions but the Storm are all about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. They are so well drilled they look like a machine. They are relentless and to be honest, we could be looking at a cricket score.

I don't think a loss this week necessary means our season is over. There are about 3 or 4 good teams in the NRL and the rest are relatively average (including us). Anyone can take the 4 other spots. It's a long season and we're only into round 3. I still think we'll finish between 4th and 6th.

Hugzy, how we looking this week? I personally think we'll hold out until the 65th minute and then let them blow out the score.

34-6 with Minto getting the lone try assist.

My biggest concern atm is obviously the poor dummy half work we r seeing, but also Dobson's lack of speed. When he has the ball in hand he struggles to beat players and when it comes to defense he can easily be run around. Well that's what the Canberra game demonstrated anyway.

I'd love to see us pull off a big upset like we did in the finals last year, but even the most optimistic part of me can't see it coming to fruition. We will have to have a completion rate in the high 80s%, Storm to be completely off their game and for us to punish them at nearly every opportunity.

Storm have been riding their luck but they are always that little bit more desperate than any one else. The big 3 are probably the 3 smartest players in the game. I think they and Bellamy simoly focus on their team and their jobs each week. I doubt they worry about the other side much at all. It is so machine like. Their psychology is extraordinary. Something to be studied.

Storm haven't been too hot themselves the first two rounds. Plus the emotion of last weeks game, I think the Knights are a good chance.
Knights need all the calls to go their way.
Speaking of which, interesting to see Fensom get suspended for two weeks for a crusher tackle on Gagai. It happened in the first set and the Knights didn't even get a penalty
