Mullens best running game of the year. Loved seeing him bump off players and send them flying back. His kicking still leaves a lot to be desired

We let them back in the second half with a complacent attitude. Penrith were killing us with their offloads.

The scoreline didn't reflect the closeness of the game but last year we would have lost this game.

That first 25 minutes was the best we have played all year with brilliant attack and defence. We just need to do this for 80.

We need the right attitude next week for the full 80.

I think he went into the game with the injury.

i was actually wondering today when mullen went down who we have to replace him if (touchwood) he were to get injured.
The obvious solution is Gids to 5/8 and Sione to fullback. I'd rather we just send a specialist 5/8 or halfback in though and leave Gids at fullback.
Do we have anyone who fits the bill?

Second half I'm a little unsure of. Sort of have the feeling they wanted to grind the game out Bennett style instead of launching attacking raids. Once Moylan went over things clicked and they felt forced to get the extra six. It's a good attitude, being able to change the momentum to close games out and defensively remain solid when needed. I don't think it's anything to worry about, a persistent issue or anything but it will easily cost us games.

Mullen was fantastic. Really stepped up, his running game was excellent; was a lot smarter, took his chances at the right time more often than not. Bumping players out of the way just highlights what a talent he is. Kicking game is far from the absolutely brilliant form of 2013 but it will get there.

Missed Sims and Rochow. Houston and Fa'alogo admittedly I thought did well but it going to be nothing but open arms for Tariq next week and hopefully Rochow. Vaivai was solid on debut, broke a few tackles, defended well. Don't think he'll get called up next week if Rochow is back but still, good showing. Thought Tapine was quiet though.

Otherwise, backs were strong, Scott and Smith continue to prove to be vital leaders, Snowy was tremendous and his form is worth every cent we're paying him. Clydsdale probably had his best game and it sucked to see him go off. Randell did well from the bench and we didn't lose anything with the interchange.

Just a good win all round.

Randell would've gone into the halves

Scott looked a bit out of sorts at during the 2nd half, Mullo as well. Really hope for no injury there.

Oh! Could Scott be in strife for the late challenge on (Wallace?) after Panthers first try? Ref called him out and gave him a caution. After the match review committee charging Sims last week, bit concerned for Scott.

Nice to see a few grubbers going through to. Nearly paid off. It's a good option to have in our kicking bag.

Surely not.

So now we are the worst team ever to be the only undefeated team in the competition?

Go Knights! :)
