May need to move to the Western Grandstand next year. Deadset almost died of heatstroke today.

Great win, awesome to keep them to nada.

Yeah I was watching all the people in the eastern stand melting in the heat trying to cool themselves down. Couldn't have been more pleasant on the western side. I'll never let my seats go.

Holy shit the heat/sun was terrible. I couldn't even focus on the game.

So happy we got a win today, especially for Alex. We were below our best obviously and looked a bit flat at times (which I expected), but really none of that matters today.

What site is this ? I'm in Thailand ?..replays would be awesome

www.livestream.com

Was all free and really accessible last year but now seems like most options you gotta pay. Used to be able to get on the site 30 mins into a game and rewind to the start and watch HD even if you were delayed. Doesn't work anymore...

If replays don't work anymore, I'd consider paying the 60 pound or whatever. Is that like $100?

Congrats to all the boys and staff. I'm very happy for all of them to be able to do what they did today. Here's hoping they can continue to make this season count week to week.

Hmmm... Is the livestream thing not free anymore?

Livestream is still free, but you have to be in an area where they don't have coverage. I've had to readjust my VPN settings to Korea after some dodgy cable network in China picked up a game.

Slept through the first half (and all of the scoring), but watching the second now.

I tried watching the livestream today, but had no sound at all during the first two minutes. It definitely wasn't anything on my end as the sound for the rabbits-raiders game worked.

Did you guys encounter that? I just figured it was channel 9 being a whore and making them disable the audio stream or something.

6 forwards ran more than 100m, when was the last time we had that? Probably easier when you have all the ball but still great numbers.

Snowden 151m
Mason 104m
Rochow 112m
Sims 121m
Cuthbo 123m
Fa'alogo 108m

Good to see Sharks fans crying about the refs too. I thought we got some favourable calls but a lot of the penalties came from the fact we wanted it so much more than they did.

Our forward pack done a wonderful job. Sharks weren't exactly great in defence, but we had plenty of offloads and kept the ball alive. Really felt had Mullen played this would have been a 40-50 point game. Just a few plays fell apart at the death.

Dobson looked a lot quicker today. The other games we've played he reminded me a lot of Dureau in that department. His defense was also greatly improved which was fortunate as they sent a lot of traffic down his way and he was up to it.

Snowden, Mason and Rochow really lead the way today. Snowden showed great mobility before the line and regularly beat the first man he drew in. He also offered the team another avenue of attack when he passed or offloaded. I remembered one set of 6 in the first 20 where he ran the ball forward 3 times. A great effort.

BJ was unstopable close to the line in the first half. In the second half our intensity dropped (possibly due to it being a hot day) and he received little ball unfortunately.

Uate had a fantastic game. He looked like the Uate of old today and he looks to be in the best shape that he has been in a long while.

I'm now sold on Roberts remaining our #1 halfback for the years to come. Even though the team has started off poorly with some close loses, he's still managed to play well in both attack and defense. I'm looking forward to seeing Roberts, Mullen and Boyd working as a unit.

Clydesdale played pretty well today. It's very apparent that he models his game on Buderus. Even though Clydesdale didn't play to the high levels of Danny, his style of play was very similar in the way he operated out of dummy half.

I was very happy with the win today which involved plenty of encouraging signs. Once we get Mullen back I'm confident we'll start posing a real threat :D

Well it looks like noone is going to give Gids any credit but I thought he was very good today. Hit hard in D , offered good service from DH and ran well when the opportunity arose. 1 crappy kick straight to their winger was the only real negative I saw

Nice to get the win. We played well in patches although far from clinical although that can be forgiven when the score is 30-0. Felt a bit sorry for the Sharkies TBH, there was always a pretty good chance they were gonna cop it today with Alex and everything, and when you factor in their injuries etc., they're having a pretty unlucky start to the year.

Pretty much all our guys had very good to great games individually. Our forwards looked very sharp and set a great platform throughout the game. Snowden and Mason were great, and Rochow had what I think is one of his best games in a Knights jersey, he actually looked like a legitimate threat out on that left edge.

Outside backs did their job, Leilua obviously being the pick of the bunch once the boys realised we had them shot on that side. Roberts had another classy game, really ran the show nicely. Dobson was off today I thought, he's been a good stopgap but obviously will be great when Mullen takes back that spot.

Gids looked much better and calmer today, not going to say I told you so just yet because it's only one game but I have thought this whole time he just needed some extended time there.

One last thing, was that a bit of a surprisingly disappointing crowd?

I thought Cuthbo was outstanding today. His best performance for a long while. Some good offloads.

Uate - a different player after addressing the squad about his form during the week. Welcome back Akuila!

Cleansed his soul. Apologised to the boys for playing like shit the past three weeks. Admitted his form was crap and promised to turn it around. He walked the walk on the field today.

The 9 commentators briefly mentioned during the call that Uate had apologised to the team during the week for his below-par form so far this year and had promised to turn it around.

EDIT: beaten to it.

I happily gave him his cred in the Gids hate thread.
