All we need is for another team to have a "form slump" and we shall win again.

It's going around that Tahu will definitely replace Quinn. Hope he does, as safe as Quinn has been he's nowhere near a big of a threat as Tahu, both defensively and in attack.

McKinnon got greedy and let a few tries to Uate go begging last week, but the week before he set up Uate a pearler so hopefully he's left the greed behind and we can have 2 strong, defensive centres who can also set up their wingers.

Hey guys.

Still tossing up as to whether or not to travel out to Kogarah from the Eastern Suburbs on Sunday. If I do, it will be my first Knights game I've been too since 2011 vs Roosters at SFS (and will probably be my birthday present for myself as I don't see myself doing absolutely anything on Wednesday). Used to regularly go to the games when I lived in the Hunter. Have only been to the odd game or so in Sydney since moving down here in 2006. Must say that I've met some fantastic Knights supporters at our away games and although I'll be biased in saying this, we have probably one of the best behaved group of away supporters in the NRL.

Yep I have met some good lads that support knights as well when I went up to Newcastle last year.

with the titans big loss last night we move into 4th. It would be nice to hold that spot with a solid win tomorrow

Would it be a fair statement to say we are the 4th best team in the comp? Storm, Manly, Souths then us? I'd say the Doggies might really find some form with Barba back and be the 4th best. However, apart from those teams, I'd say we look much stronger than the rest.

Cowboys and Tigers can be anything though.

What about the Roosters? They're going pretty well.

According to twitter Quinn is out with an arm injury.

You could easily argue the Sharks and Roosters for that 4th spot also. But we're in the top 8 and that's all that matters at the moment. Hopefully we improve and peak when the time comes.

EDIT: Woohoo Tahu is back!

I've been watching plenty of games this season (I'm not working at the moment) and that's my assessment. I'm always skeptical about the sharks (losing culture and also they might be banding together because of the drug scandal but they will fall apart when it explodes later this year). The roosters always have a good roster but never live up to expectations. Maloney and SBW might make a big difference but I'm not sure.

Still undecided as to whether or not to go...

Anyways, stat of the day: if we win, we will be 4-1, which is our best start to a season since 2006, where we were also 4-1 after the first 5 matches. 2006 was probably the last season where we were a dominant premiership contending side, especially since its the last time we finished in the top 4 (it was also Joey's last full season).

Also, if we win, theres a very good chance we will also beat the Panthers at home, making it 4 wins in a row - the first time we have achieved that since....you guessed it...2006 (Rd 11).

Ouch... That's a big blow. Hope Sims aims up, he played just yesterday so big ask for the young bloke.

It must have been an out of the blue injury, otherwise surely wayne would have had some sort of backup.

This reduces our bench impact heaps, as you would imagine Sims would only be good for maybe a couple 15 minute stints due to the fatigue factor.. Could work in our favour I guess. Anyone know how many minutes sims played yesterday?
