How Hook is genuinely vying to keep his job and leaves Mbye on for that long is beyond me, it’s almost criminal.

And Lomax… please pack your bags. His defence cost us ground dearly today, the amount of times he was caught in field is not first grade standard. He needs to go, an absolute lost cause.

Mbye made some really good runs in that second half. Liddle looked absolutely spent early in the second and the commentators said as much. Liddle isn't an 80 minute player at the moment. And even when he did come back on he looked exhausted.

Agree with Lomax. As soon as he gets the ball he stops. There's no value in having him in the team.

Being coached to rush up in defence and they aren't hitting the targets. 9-2 penalty count against didn't help and they can't defend their errors.

Don’t get me wrong, he is a great footballer but at $1.2m a year and as captain, you cannot be caught in no mans land in defence when your team is ahead. And then to drop the ball cold in the last set. Top drawer players and captains don’t do that.

He's not on that.

No awareness , urgency or deperation
shocking inter change rotation
why was JDB replaced with the game on the line ?
why was liddle off for so long ?
why was m bye on for so long ?
why was lawrie off for so long ?
etc etc etc
no on field awareness from the Captain in those clutch moments
we tend to play with an air of arrogance , is that instilled by the Coach ?
there is potential in this side , but we are constantly cruelled by schoolboy errors , and poor on field and off field execution
at times we are just dumb and clueless
the scary thing is guys , we arent playing the big guns in the comp yet.

They were busted and Liddle would have been more effective.

Lomax was shocking before the side switch, it’s nothing to do with that. He’s just shit, plain and simple.

Doubt it. I'd say most want hook gone but hunt is defending him like it's his dad.

I’m not too sure, but he’s certainly pro Griffin unlike many others in the squad. Mary, Flanagan and Young all had some issues with him.
