He was equal first for try assists in the League last year. There's all sorts of spastic going on around him at the moment, and it begins with the guy passing him the ball (infrequently)

Aside from a couple of silly errors, I think he did

Unfortunately he needs the key guys around him to not f**k it up and that is what happened. He kicked us into great field position but we gave away penalties. He slide across field and created gaps but we had no hole runners. He set sweep plays where we had numbers but our outside men hogged the ball

Honestly mate, he cant do it all himself as much as we'd like him too. Its just not a realistic expectation

Yep good points. I agree somewhat. But I still think he could have done a lot more in the last ten minutes to keep the pressure on them when we were close to the line.

To be honest, I think his biggest issue at the moment is that he doesn't have the (C) next to his name. Deserves it, and is better with it. It's hard when your captain is the bloke that first touches the ball at the scrumbase and is an idiot.

Another thing that bothered me tonight was Mamos positioning on the wing in attack. He always seems to be a long way in field, next to his centre. It hassled me last week when he missed 2 try opportunities due to it, and I noticed it again tonight. No doubt he's fast and elusive, but he has a lot to learn.

Come Origin time it might be good to have him at the back when Boyd is (I'm guessing) playing for QLD.

Yep, I keep hearing that they are playing for Alex but I don't actually see a team busted their arses, doing whatever they need to do to get the job done.

I don't think it was a case of not lifting tonight, everyone bar Darius busted their gut fair and square. You can't really get good execution from inspiration. Inspiration doesn't make you a smarter player, either.
