Raiders coming off a high... Mullen in doubt... I'm in doubt to be honest.

Who knows - trying to pick which Raiders team turns up is even more difficult than picking which Knights team is.

If it was at night I'd be a lot more negative. As it is, assuming Mullen plays I give us a decent shot, probably about 50/50 at this stage.

We got them earlier in the year in ugly fashion, however this time we'll need to do it without Bedsy and Jeremy Smith.

I just don't see it happening.

Not having a good hooker has such an impact in this day and age. When I said a while back that Buderus allowed the team to improve 10-20%, I may have been underselling the idea. It could well be closer to 30%.

Thankfully it's a day game so we're not playing them in Sub Zero tempratures

We just can't seem to get good performances out of the entire team on a regular basis. We are presenting many matches in which only a portion of the playing group were fully engaged in the game and working as a unit. The games in which we have done that, we've won quite well. At the moment we just need to worry about winning games and improving.

This one could be tough depending on which Raiders turn up. I think if you sting the Raiders early, they go into their shell a bit. Certainly don't let them get an early start on you, because they can run away with it. There's no reason why we shouldn't win in Canberra. I think our forward pack will need to step up as a unit to get the job done, though. Snowden needs to keep doing what he has been the last couple of weeks... and everyone else needs to follow him. I don't think we were bad against the Sharks, but we need to make smarter decisions. We need Mullen out there to win this one, for sure. Also, I think it's a good thing they're coming off a win against Melbourne. It gives them an opportunity to become complacent, and should keep our guys on red alert.

I can't predict the score of the game, however the one guarantee is the majority of the 9-10k home support will be related.

I hope we smash these bloody in-bred hillbillies, there's nothing I would love more. I can't stand the delusion of some of the Raiders fans on here that maintain every Canberra junior is a future Blues player in waiting, case in point Jarrod Gimp Croker. What a bloody crock.

And if the Raiders lose a game, it's because the team didn't perform up to "standard", they will never credit the opposition with actually playing well. And it's not just us. Sooner or later Raiders fans will just have to wake up to the fact that some of their players just aren't that good.

Case in point would be Josh McCrone, who is deadset bog average and shouldn't be let anywhere near a Country jumper. And don't get me started on that serial whinger Terry Campese, he'll play one good game and all of a sudden Raiders fans will be jumping up and down yelling "blues jumper, blues jumper!"

Anyway, Raiders by 40.

Dont forget Jack "Future blues fullback, centre, 5/8, backrow, hooker and prop" Weighton.

FMD the kid can tackle but he is very raw and not even in the top 10 centres in the comp.

Raiduhs fans are chronic dick in hand merchants

I'm not exactly worried about not having Mullen. Gids was great last Sunday until the pressure started to mount and I can't see us being in another situation like that. I said it earlier in this thread, I think, Waddell isn't going to improve if you keep pulling the kid off every 20 minutes. Having him, Roberts and Gidley means that we'll have consistent halves and a hooker for the full 80. Hilder might be a bonus. There's been times where he's played well coming back from injury or NSW cup. But Costigan....

And Mellor can f**k off. How on earth can he get a second week in the box after that pathetic call, let alone, against us?
