I have very little confidence in the team winning if Mullen isn't there. His kicking game, defense and leadership have been of great importance to the knights success this year.

The year Mullen is having is a logical extension of last year, imo... I thought most of the change happened there... it's just the team around him is buying into everything a lot more now. He was brilliant for us last year aside from a very small handful of moments/games.

Ever since Wayne gave him the #6 jersey and said "yep, that's your jersey now and forever", Mullen has personally thrived. I get the feeling it's mostly in Mullens head, too... the difference between him playing 6 and 7, that is.

He still has improvement in him... his short kicking game has really come along now, but can still be better... and I would love to see the day where Mullen commands the ball when he really needs to... but Gids has got in the way so much over the past few years, that's a bit of a tough one. It's obvious to all and sundry that Mullen is our primary, and often our sole true playmaker... obvious to everyone besides him and whoever is passing the ball to Gids, anyway.

The thing I like most about the Roberts/Mullen combination is that it brings some of the best football we've seen out of Mullo. Roberts is fine and everything... I think he'll make a very handy halfback for us at least... but it's his effect on Mullens game that really pleases me.

So I've heard Canberra is full of Jed Bogans aye.

I reckon that Tony Abbott is a shoe in for PM aye.

It's amazing how much Reece Robinson has regressed since Jed Bogan raced out of town before the hillbilly lynch mob got him aye.

I still don't get why Jarrod Croker can't tackle aye.

It's a proven fact that Andrew Johns is a better half than Ricky Stuart and Gonzo Daley combined aye.

Danny Buderus is a pretty good hooker aye. Better than Steve Walters aye.

The NRL refs perform to a pretty high standard aye.

Gee those Dragons are looking alright this year aye. They might make the finals ahead of the Raiders aye.

Mullo will allegedly play barring a major setback. Mail is he will travel and be given till kickoff to prove his fitness. Source was Keeble's twitter feed.

We should travel back to 1995 and donate some of Mullen's blood to Andrew Johns and then break St George's streaks of 11 premierships.

My source says he will play.

BTW my source is a little voice in my head saying what I want to hear.

Saw that too. He must be a decent player if manly offered good money for him. Can't be worse than hilder, Waddell or costigan.

Sims in for Costigan again, Cyldsdale will replace Hilder. Doesn't look like Mullen will be playing now f**k

Clydsdale has been tipped to be our future hooker and captain for years, he's got all the traits Cameron Smith has. He tops the tackle counts, he sets up tries and has a fantastic kicking game and leadership skills. He's one of the best kids we've brought up in years, really looking forward to seeing him play in first grade.

We would have been mad to play Mullo if he wasn't 100%. And he clearly wouldn't have been.
