Our performance have been declining over the past few weeks. The Penrith game was atrocious and last week their was a lack of intensity. I watched with envy last night as Bowen ran the ball back to line with speed unlike Boyd. At times I think Boyd and even Uate would have the best stats for side way running from kick returns....

This nails it. We've been on this trajectory for a few weeks and the Tits were a blip because of their injury toll.

I think Boyd makes a conscious decision based on what he thinks the intensity of the team is like, if thinks they aren't having a dig, then he just goes through the motions.

That was probably Boyd's worst game for us since the first half of last year. Terrible defense and his positioning for the Raiders kicks was awful. Left Uate high and dry more than once (though no excuses for his play either).

It's cute how much Raiders fans hate us, yet most of our fans couldn't give a shit about the Raiders unless we're playing them on the weekend. They still haven't worked out that the reason we come out and give them so much crap is because they're so easy to wind up- they're like that little red headed kid with a lisp!

Mind you, they have a massive hate vendetta against quite a few teams. I guess having a Premiership drought beaten only by Parramatta and Souths would make you pretty angry...

I was ecstatic with ferguson today as I just drafted him into my fantasy team :lol:

No two ways about it - it was like Melbourne v maitland under 9's, such was the difference in quality between the two teams.

I really, really wish Gidley would f**k off, and take Houston with him. McKinnon needs a spell in Reggie's too. Waddell needs to go back to QLD, Uate needs some intensive high ball coaching...there is so much wrong with this team it's not funny.

Difference is, we can watch Fergo carve up and look forward to watching him do the same for NSW. And remember that Newcastle is still an infintely more attractive destination for players than roundabout city

He Gagai and Sims are the blokes worth feeding in the 17 that played today.

Sims is a wrecking ball, and Gagai is a hell of talent (he's not better than Jack Wighton though)

Akuila Uate: 187cm, 96kg stopped dead in his tracks with a full head of steam but Jack Wighton: 188cm, 88kg stationary. Uate didnt gain one centremetre of ground once he hit Wighton. That's just about as burried as you see Uate
