Lots of interesting comings and goings at other clubs. We can afford to sit back and wait to see what falls from the tree, particularly if we can offload Ilias and/or Host.
Ilias wants to stay and Host is digging his heels in and nobody want either on the money they’re on. Both are back ended deals and no club will pay anywhere near what we have them on for 2025.

We are stuck with them for 25 though ive a feeling illias can reinvent himself

May as well continue this thread and make it a "forever thread" too like the rumours thread since turning over annual threads seems to be a bit too much for some people...

Whoever it is on the wing it's going to be a weakness until Stretch or AJ is good to go.
Especially depending which side they play. At full strength, you'd expect AJ to regain the left wing he should have a mortgage on and Munro to be our right side winger playing along side Graham. But with AJ still out for another month or so after the comp starts, will Munro shift to left wing so we have our quickest man there for those shifts or will Wayne ask him to cement his game on the right?

If they play Munro right wing, then the new guy has less of a hard time and should get some meat pies gifted to him.

If Graham is still out round 1 though, we may need to play Tass at right centre up against Herbie and he and whoever is his wingman opposite the rangy and very capable Bostock will be up against it.

Wayne knows better than anyone what is required to shut his former players down but will struggle if they are reserve graders he has to pick.

I must have missed that post from macemaceman. That's awesome, I'm definitely going to start listing mine as Rabbitoh too. If enough of us do it they will have to recognise it as a genuine rligion.

The Mole: Campbell Graham’s vow to Bunnies teammates after ‘frustrating’ injury setback

The Mole

The Mole

February 3, 2025 - 6.14am

Injury-plagued South Sydney star Campbell Graham has vowed to teammates that he will run onto the field for round one next month despite breaking his hand at traininglast week.

Graham, who missed the entire 2024 season with a sternum injury, is officially listed as “out indefinitely” after the training mishap.

But Graham has told his fellow players there is no way he will miss the Rabbitohs’ opening game against the Dolphins in a major boost to the club at the start of Wayne Bennett’s second coming.

Graham suffered the injury last Tuesday and medical staff are waiting for the swelling to come down to see if he needs an operation to repair the broken bone in his hand.

Campbell Graham could be set for a round one return despite an injury.

The tall centre, who was sorely missed as Souths struggled for potency out wide throughout the 2024 season, has five weeks to get himself back into match-playing condition.

He may even play with the hand not 100 per cent healed, with thick bandaging or a protective guard around the injury.

“He has said he will be there for round one,” a Souths source told Wide World of Sports.

“It has been a frustrating couple of years for him and this has only added to his determination to be on the field with his mates.”
