Looks like the Richo boys club is infesting the bunnies.

It has been for sometime,they are the only signings Richo is capable of.
Our biggest signings in the last few years( Roy and Burgo) have been influenced by Rusty and in Dave Taylors case it was Tallis who played a major role.

How is Merritt a much better option at the back? The area that I think he would be stronger in is his support play but Wesser is much better under the high ball and running the ball back. Both players have their strengths and weaknesses from the back.

Because he's turned on Wesser takes a nap or two during the game just look at the blunders he's made this year by going to sleep. he should not have been resigned the only reason he was signed because he fits Richo's criteria played for penrith & is washed up

I have kept out of the Wesser debate until now. I went to Penrith last night and watched him play a pathetic game. Refused to take a high ball, was run around in defense, dropped the ball from a scrum win etc etc etc. I have no idea why we signed him this week - its not like anyone else was going to. If he is on 250K a season he is taking up valuable salary cap space and will limit our opportunity to sign anyone else of note for next year.
I know that they all played bad but Wesser geeeeze!

Wesser is long gone past his best. Why Souths want this bloke as the fullback for another year one will never know. If they don't get any new players in their backline for next year then they will be flogged each week. Last night showed that the current backline lacks "guts and heart".

I knew signing Talanoa and Wesser was a bad idea. Talanoa does nothing special EVER, he is slow and uncreative, the only tries he ever scores is cleaning up mistakes and being in the right place. Wesser is better than Talanoa, but I hope we have some sort of clause to get out of these contracts cause they aren't performing

BUUUUUT...he is, by a wide margin, the worst winger I've ever seen in terms of positioning. Worse than Joven f**king Clarke. The number of times he's ten metres in field (and not just this season either) and they score from a simple overlap is mind blowing. And that miss on Sandor Earl on Friday was just one in a string of embarrassing defensive misreads on his part.

He is a strange player he makes bad decisions, has poor defence. Even when he turns it up it's kind of brutish, nothing special. The guy doesn't even dive into make tries, he slides on his ass and that has cost us a few opportunities

We will get flogged with that back 5. We need an experienced centre in the side. We needed another fullback but we are stuck with Old Slow Legs Wesser. Need tow more signings in the backs at least. Don't throw all our young blokes to the wolves in one go.

Rhys is the worst fullback in the League he make countless mistakes in a game costs us at least 2 tries each game from his poor play, he will throw a forward pass. knock on does not follow the play bad position and no urgency to get to ball and tackle what tackles. WORST DESISION TO SIGN HIM FOR 2011 The ex Penrith connection looked after him. I still cannot believe it.
