Could be different circumstances for Trell considering Ezra's is related to actual charges.

There has been some noise around not letting Trell and JAC use the All Stars game to serve their suspension. Scott Sattler was in the news a few days ago pushing that angle. Apparently the thinking is that if they miss the All Stars which we all know means so much to them, they won't learn their lesson whereas if they miss a comp game, then they will learn their lesson. Basic psychology, it seems, by people who are not psychologists as far as I'm aware.

Said in the article that he is a Souths fan but we all know he is based in south-east Qld, loves the GC and would also hope the other Qld sides also go well. Who are we playing in round 1 again? Oh, yeah, the Dolphins.

To my understanding, for most club fans and the club itself who pays the players, a regular comp game is easily the more important match but for those boys eligible to play in the Indigenous All stars game, it's the other way round and would sting worse missing that special match where they represent their families and their people, which I fully respect.

Hope everyone had a good last couple of days I sure did precious time with elderly relatives and we just had a basic Christmas didn’t go overboard with food or anything. Got a couple of gifts each but the true gift is remembering the birth of Jesus Christ and precious family time that’s enough for me all I needed.

Got to watch some of the cricket today too which was great. Went for a swim early evening as well.
