Being short doesn't mean he can't be a good fullback. One of South Sydney's greatest ever, Clive Churchill, played fullback and he was 175 cm tall (i.e. 5 foot 9 inches). Gray is only 5 cm shorter.

Heck, Preston Campbell played fullback, five eighth, halfback, and wing during his career, and he was only 167cm tall. Height is not the issue in my opinion.

Jai's size would become more of an issue if he was singled out at 6 in the defensive line in my opinion. I think height only really becomes a problem in the modern game if you're a winger or a centre and you're getting targetted with bombs, but on the flip side the smaller wingers are usually incredibly quick off the mark.

Yeah, he would definitely get targeted at 6. Agree that height is most important for wingers both offensively and defensively.
