Lovett, host, sullivan, shuster,s mitchell should be shown the door.
Lovett hasnt played for nearly 2 seasons, sulli we have jye and dont need him, shuster is a plain waste, and mitchell ....well he struts around the field but feins injury, was good enough for the all stars, and now does nothing, a complete waste, and this is why our depth is crap,we are carrying players that dont want to play
Johnstone and Host should be the first to go

"Brandon Smith is open to joining South Sydney midway through this season, but his public declaration of love for bitter rivals the Rabbits has not gone down well with his Sydney Roosters teammates."

LOL!

Interesting thoughts from Cronk on our halves -

The Rabbitohs have $650,000 English recruit Lewis Dodd playing reserve grade after Wayne Bennett picked the unknown Jamie Humphries to be his halfback.

Humphries repaid the faith by booting his side to victory in the opening two games of the season and Cronk said the No. 7 jersey is now his to lose.

“The thing about Lewis Dodd, I’ll be honest I haven’t seen a lot but the question mark I have is, not too many halves have come here from England and dominated,” Cronk said.

“The England players who come out here and have successful careers are middle forwards.

“Halves struggle because of the speed of game, rushing defensive lines and it’s more physical. You have less time to make good decisions, in a nutshell

“For Lewis Dodd to lead Souths, given the position Souths are in after last year, he has to be a generational player.

“It says a lot that Humphries was given first crack and is staying there.”

Yep see how long Dodd sticks around playing second grade or he heads back to England homesick and frees up the salary cap
Been thinking it for a while but thought it too premature to say it. :D

In fact, a few Pommy players have got homesick and gone back - George Williams quit mid-season a few years ago and went home and he was actually doing quite well for Canberra. Also, Bateman last year just up and left although didn't give up on his contract until a deal was done and now he's at the Cows.

I feel sorry for Doddy as he seems a nice enough chap but he also looks a little over-awed, tends to sit back and not go after the game enough although that might still come. He was sheepish for the first 30 minutes in Cup the other day I thought before finding his feet and doing some good things. The try was simple enough given the poor defence in front of him in that instance but good on him.

You never know. If Humph gets injured and Dodd gets pitchforked in, he could take his chance but I don't see that he has huge upside which is what Cronk was essentially saying.

Yeh I would like to see him succeed but he as you say looks a bit overawed at the moment but he might pick up the speed of the game in the nrl but at the current time it’s seems a like a goal out of his reach but leagues a funny game you never know

Looks like Schuster might be back on track....after all.....

Lets hope so. He would need to play some games at NSW Cup level to get his match fitness going and show he is switched on. At that level, he should be lethal and rack up some good stats if he is back to his best and that would force Wayne to pick him for 1st grade.

That's all still a long way off though at this stage. Needs to get his body and his head right. Needs to prove himself.

BREAKING: Brandon Smith is a Bunny. Official announcement later today. Two years. Starting date not set. Watch for an up coming episode of his podcast with James Graham - The Bye Round podcast to see first interview.
@9NewsSyd

However, an early release from the remainder of his contract with the Roosters seems improbable.
