Jai's size would become more of an issue if he was singled out at 6 in the defensive line in my opinion. I think height only really becomes a problem in the modern game if you're a winger or a centre and you're getting targetted with bombs, but on the flip side the smaller wingers are usually incredibly quick off the mark.

It's more over all size at fb I think, you want someone who can generate return metres.

Yes there are some that can do this with amazing footwork and core body strength but they're outliers.

Jye is stocky and pretty good and getting KRMs. It's just his height that can be a concern if the opposition isolate him under a high ball with tall timber bearing down which happened a few times last year. But a wily old coach can figure out how to solve that which is not rocket science. As I mentioned previously, you get one of your own tall wingers, like Munro, to get in there and compete for the ball as often as possible. Won't work every time but all teams lose some of those duels down their own end. Just need to minimise the damage and make up for it down the other end.

Yep. Not too green. We've got a good record of finding late bloomers. He was impressive in Cronulla's trial match I thought. Quite lively and deceptive out of marker. I'm not at all surprised to hear he has a few 1st grade coaches chasing him.
