That’s interesting. If anyone could get the best out of Fafita it would be Bennett. But losing Arrow would be a hard pill to swallow his efforts this season has kept us in a lot of games.

I would sit on the fence with my emotions if this came true
I feel exactly the same. We need someone like Fafita but I don't think that would offset the loss of Jai.

Dogs fans will infiltrate all our member bays I am dreading it they’re unbearable.

What are we expecting crowd wise? I’m expecting 80/20 fans split to the Dogs and over 40,000 there. Don’t think we get more than 10,000 Souths faithful out there. Dad and I will be out there.

I’m not confident at all yes Dogs will miss Crichton, King, Mann, Burton. But they have lots of depth and still great quality in Tracey, Kiraz, Xerri, Montoya, Galvin, Sexton, Preston is back, Kikau, Curran, Hayes etc……. They still have so many threats.

For us I worry with where our defensive attitude is at. Defence is attitude and the last two weeks our attitude has been shit overall not what South Sydney is about. Losing Trell to origin again and Cody out again I struggle to see where our points will come from it’s a major concern.

Not expecting to win but praying for a miracle as it’s going to take close to that next Sunday.

Our boys need our support but I understand some of our members and fans refuse to go to Dogs game due to the vitriol from their fan base.

Chammas did a Q&A on IG an hour ago…

Cobbo to Souths - unlikely, would have to massively drop asking price

Cody retiring - no, Souths just working out if it’s 1 or 2 year extension

May to Tigers - Still a chance at Souths in 2026

Katoa to test the market - No, not while Wolff is coach, he loves him

Biggest mistake of the century,he would be pushing for 2 years because he dosent care for 2 years of sitting on the sidelines, what a joke
I told you it would all be downhill after letting Reyno go and we still haven’t replaced our 7 or settled on one. 4 years later and here we are proof in the pudding the rot started when he left.

There was nothing wrong with letting Reynolds go. Souths made him an offer but Broncos made him a better offer

If Reynolds were playing behind Souths hopeless forward pack this season everyone would be calling for him to retire. Reynolds has been playing with a team of much better athletes at the Broncos but has still failed to win a comp in 3 years there

Cody should retire his body is no longer up to NRL

Latrell has been playing more a No 6 role this season than a No 1 so the obvious combination for Souths to try is Gray at 1 and Latrell at 6

Other clubs are smart enough to know that when you've got the greatest goalkicker of all time you do everything possible to hang on to him. Not us though, we thought we had a worthy replacement for him ready to go but we couldn't have been more wrong. It definitely has to plant a seed of doubt in other players as to whether giving your all and loving the club wholeheartedly is enough for the club to look after you in return.

From one of his close mates it was always reynolds intention to move to qld permanently, so unlike sutto who signed 3x 1year deals and could have moved but stayed, reynolds snapped the chance and left, showing no regard for the club, during the last 3 years of his deal he winged about various injurys his back his neck etc etc and missed quite alot of training, which is why the club thought he couldnt go the distance, so he contributed to managments thinking of him.
Now obviously when he likes the money hes the oposite at the donkeys. So he screwed us and i consider him a traitor and stuff him

If thats the case, why then did he want the club to add another year to the deal they were offering? I've also spoken to a close mate of his who says that the last thing Reyno wanted to do was leave Souths. Maybe one day the whole story will come out and I'm reserving any judgment of him until then.

The adding another year came before the qld offer, after that he was gone,no matter what deal we could have put in front of him

Thats just it though. If he was so keen to go to Qld, why would he want to add another year to his deal here? Like I said, the true story has yet to emerge, anything now is purely speculative.
