Thats just it though. If he was so keen to go to Qld, why would he want to add another year to his deal here? Like I said, the true story has yet to emerge, anything now is purely speculative.
You havent read my answer, the offer came BEFORE the qld offer,BEFORE, reynolds would of thought he won the lottery, selling his house and moving ,never to come back to sydney

Oh I did read your answer. I just think that the actual facts have yet to emerge. Lots of conflicting stories out there, you can easily find one to support any way you want to frame it.

There was nothing wrong with letting Reynolds go. Souths made him an offer but Broncos made him a better offer

If Reynolds were playing behind Souths hopeless forward pack this season everyone would be calling for him to retire. Reynolds has been playing with a team of much better athletes at the Broncos but has still failed to win a comp in 3 years there

Cody should retire his body is no longer up to NRL

Latrell has been playing more a No 6 role this season than a No 1 so the obvious combination for Souths to try is Gray at 1 and Latrell at 6
Souths made him an offer yes but an insulting one.

Our demise wouldn’t have been as steep if he was here

From one of his close mates it was always reynolds intention to move to qld permanently, so unlike sutto who signed 3x 1year deals and could have moved but stayed, reynolds snapped the chance and left, showing no regard for the club, during the last 3 years of his deal he winged about various injurys his back his neck etc etc and missed quite alot of training, which is why the club thought he couldnt go the distance, so he contributed to managments thinking of him.
Now obviously when he likes the money hes the oposite at the donkeys. So he screwed us and i consider him a traitor and stuff him
Sutto started one year deals at 33 not at age 30 like Reyno you can’t compare

You've only got to look at the Broncos last game to see the impact Reyno has on a team. Brisbane have been below par this year but the whole team fired up and played their best game to ensure they won for Reyno on his 300th game. It should have been us getting the win for him on his 300th just like it should be our fans getting to let out a mighty roar when he breaks the pointscoring record. If only our club was smart enough to realise that Ilias was not a worthy replacement they would have done all they could to keep Reyno here where he belongs.

We have so far lost all 6 games against teams equal 6th or higher on the ladder

“DOUBLE TROUBLE The Rabbitohs have won just two of their past eight games and could slip to 15th this week with a loss and a Newcastle
win over the Roosters. It's not a good week then to be playing the
table-topping
Bulldogs. Souths have lost all six games they have played against teams currently sixth and above on the ladder, the equal worst record
shared with the Titans. It's also not a good week for Cody Walker (pictured) to be
missing due to injury. With Latrell Mitchell on Origin duty, the Rabbitohs will play without both big attacking weapons for just the seventh time since Mitchell
joined the Bunnies in 2020. They have won just one of the six previous games without
the duo. The Bulldogs are also missing their key attacking weapons in Stephen Crichton and Matt Burton but the only other time this has occurred since both joined the club the Dogs smashed the Knights last season. A win will keep the Bulldogs on top of the table for a l2th consecutive week, something they have not
achieved since 1984.”

I don't believe we should sign Cody to a two-year deal. It feels like he's constantly injured, even if it is only for a game or two at a time - it adds up.
The Fifita - Arrow swap - I agree, I'd happily have Fifita, but not for one of our forwards who is mostly playing well. But you'd obviously not be able to fit both of them.
The Reyno situation - we should've offered him two years straight up, not as a second offer. I agree three might've been a stretch at the time, but hindsight is wonderful.
