Personally, I'm quite pleased with this signing. In my eyes, McIlwrick is nothing special but is a solid player who can do a job if required. His defence is great too.

It's also important to remember that at the end of the day, we've only signed him as a back up and he's a very solid back up imo.

Offers zero in attack.

Billy Brittain plays a very similar style as Cook, particularly in attack.

I feel like if Cook went down, we could keep a similar style of play (even if it wasn't executed at the same level) with Billy at 9.

If McIlwrick comes in, I can't see his running or passing game being of a good enough standard to fit our current game plan.

Brilliant defender, but a bit of a passenger in attack.

Let's see how McIlwrick goes under Seibs!!

His road has been a similar one to Cook.

NSWs Cup,Dragons,back to NSWs Cup,DOGS,NSWs Cup,STHS,NSWs Cup,regular Sths 1sts-----now he's playing well at SOO level & may rep for Aust!!

Seibs seems to get the best out of players & he thinks McIlwrick will suit Sths style.
Let's see how he goes in our system!!

I received a text from a mate this morning that Musgrove has signed with the eels. Don't know if it's immediate or from 2019. You can't keep them all. A bit injury prone but heaps of potential. Don't be too critical of McIllrick people, could turn out to be an astute signing!!

Apparently we want Turner out too...

Musgrove didn't kick on with us..

As long we aren't paying part of his contract... @callmack1

Now to re-sign Tatola and Nicholls plus Fuimaono.

I hope he can kick on at a new club if it's true. A change of scenery could be just what he needs.
Unfortunately, i don't see Parra's problems being solved any time soon. They have one of the worst spines in the comp saved only by King Gutherson

Musgrove apparently dosent put in enough even in rehab there were problems better he goes he was on more than min wage

Agreed. I mean, as I've said before, look at the players we have this year who in the past have been fringe first graders put have been fantastic for us under Seibs.

That's interesting, thanks Mixo.

While it'll be sad to see another Kiwi go, it doesn't really suprise me. I've been questioning his attitude for a wee while tbh and he has proved to be quite inconsisent. Whatever happens, I wish him all the best as I believe he has the potential to be a great front rower.

f**k Musgrove,glad to see the prick with ears passed onto a shit club.
Will never forget him laughing his head off standing in our in goal when we were getting belted by the Storm round 25 last year and not just once.
Good riddance,gone a pretender to a pretender of a club!

I am about to find out from the man himself.he has had a bad run with injuries,but does it warrant that tirade from an old piece of shit with a heart condition? If you are wrong my friend,apologise and pull your big f**ken head in! If he does go,pull your head in anyway!

Musgrove must be injured atm, norths had a big win today and he wasn't listed in the team.
