I think AJ returns at FB. He's involved in a lot of the set plays and we saw last night how a lot of backline moves seemed to fall over before they started. Granted that it was a different looking line up but the moves never even got started.
Leads the team in try assists and linebreak assists, equal third for tries scored, the team is set up with AJ at FB and it has worked.

Some players last night put their hands up for a regular spot in the 17, the make-up of the team could be slightly different to what we thought comes finals time.

Burns definitely put his hand up.... did well at centre and he’s got skill... centre seems to be his spot over the wing...

Campbell’s also a few weeks away. Most likely most of our best 17 returns round 25 or week 1 of the finals.

I think it would be absolutely nuts to change a winning formula and play anyone else at fullback when he returns. The team is used to him back there and it will completely destroy everything we’ve built on during the season coming into the finals.

As for covering the positions over the next few weeks there will be a few boys from the bears who have been waiting for a shot like this. Brittain and Tracey especially. I thought Fuimaono played very well as well.

People need to relax. If we had a few calls go our way, we could’ve easily won last night and people would have a completely different attitude.

No one really has a bad attitude about that game though, most have agreed it was a pretty good performance considering the circumstances and it showed how good we are that we can still go toe to toe with a fellow top side with a completely different backline.

I'm just concerned about the injuries we've been getting.

I’m more referring to the comments from last night but you’re right I may have exaggerated a little bit. At the end of the day we have quite a young backline and I don’t think their bodies would be ready for the vigour of playing a full NRL season. These injuries will be a good focal point for our medical staff to focus on next season but most of the time it’s just shit luck.

I spoke to Reyno at Eastgardens today, didn't appear to be injured and said he would be playing.

GI could play next week but they’ll make the call on Tuesday.

This seems to be the consensus online nothing official yet though.

I still think we can beat the broncos. They’ve been average the past 2 weeks.

Edit. Hiroti, Brittain and Britt were all late withdrawals for the bears.

That indicates Brittain into the 14 jersey to cover hooker, halves and centre I’d say as we are that desperate.

With Kennar in a moon boot at recovery Hiroti would be on the wing for us you’d say...

I read in the SMH I think it was Seibs said the surgeon said GI needs another week off and what even be named in our 21 this week. With 6 backs out we will struggle I feel... Oates on Hiroti is a mismatch.. we may have to shift Hunt onto Oates and move Hiroti onto Isaako’ side.

I just fear if he’s on Oates Hiroti will be humiliated on debut which isn’t fair on the kid..

Man these injuries really are giving me the shits! It's so worrying, I know we have great depth but now those depth players are getting injured and we're being stretched thin. If we do have Kennar out for this one, I have faith that the boys will step up and cover once again.

My mate showed me another worrying photo today, it was off Fui's Instagram I think and he was in a moon boot as well! I'm really starting to worry about these injuries.

On the bright side, almost our entire backline is going to be fresh for the finals.

A moon boot doesn't always mean long term injury. It's not uncommon for a professional to use one as a recovery tool after a game for something simple like a rolled ankle.

It is \possible that it's just precautionary or for recovery.

Take Gus last year, off field I think he was like always in a moon boot due to that foot injury he had but he still played on.
