If Inglis retires, we can go sign Hayne and Merrin. Still have change for an upgrade.
Graham to centre, hayne on the wing.
Merrin off the bench

Easy

Here is anouther possibility.
We are in need of a centre, its time for dylan walker to come home ,talk is maonly will not renew his contract, bennett has form forgiving bad boys, id say its a definate possibility

I would say that once Walker gets through all his court business, he will be sitting out a year or two of NRL. Besides that, he didn't just burn his bridges with Souths, he pissed on the ashes. No way he will be back with us under the current admin.

Hayne is facing something like 8 - 20 in prison and Merrin was past it at the Panthers last year. Neither would be a good signing.

Pretty disappointed if Bryson walks out on Warrington mid season. I thought he was better than that.
Worth mentioning he has been injured and I’m not positive he has even played this season.

Why do you want those two old crocks, their both due for the scrap heap (Merrin was always overrated). Invest in youth, preferably from with in the club.

I agree but I’m talking for this year only. Hayne not ideal but he’s got talent

I can't see Walker at Souths or in the NRL.

I can see Gutherson in green n red.

Contract talks between Gutho and Parra couldn't be further apart if rumour is to be believed.
Gutho to FB, AJ to wing and Graham to centre sounds good to me.

Bringing back Aaron Gray to play/cover centre in 2019 could be a decent option. Not getting a look in at Cronulla who are under cap pressure.

Gutherson would be a decent buy, but if he comes for FB we loose AJ, and i dont think we would pay the 800k he has reportedly asked parra for,GI he isnt

Oh god help us all.
We need to look ahead not back to who we had 5 years ago, Bryson was solid but definitely not the best in attack , he wasn’t back then and I doubt he will be now , the game gets faster each year not slower
That’s just my opinion

AJ has been really good so far at FB this year, yeah sure he has mistimed a couple of defence attempts but he is most certainly putting his body on the line with kick returns Wayne obviously stated what he had to
No way is Gutho worth 800 k he is dreaming mate no chance , on top of that wherever he went he wants FB we have AJ Allen already no thanks to Gutho

Someone needs to be available first before you can buy them. Top quality centres don't just fall out of trees, particularly in April.

If GI calls time, we will need a stack of luck to find a decent replacement at this time of year.

I completely agree but it looks like the club is pretty desperate if the Bryson Goodwin return is true.

The condition that could bring an end to Greg Inglis’ NRL career: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...r/news-story/26f76e8cfc8a69e3a7e8640f11f3c511

Greg Inglis retirement speculation increases as Rabbitohs chase Bryson Goodwin: https://wwos.nine.com.au/nrl/greg-i...abbitohs/72111cf5-8cd7-4cc0-b60f-ec2f468eb59d

I am now officially preparing for the worst, not feeling good about this at all as I think us going after Goodwin almost confirms that GI will hang up the boots next week which will be absolutely devastating.

Not sure how I feel about Goodwin coming in. He is very solid and was one of our best in 2017 but he won't exactly set the world on fire.
