firstly Souths would be the last club they would offer him at half price , unless it was half price for 2019 and FULL Price for rest of the years of his contract. The latter is most likely the deal.

second , if they were offering him half price for 2019 and balance of his contract , WHICH THEY ARE NOT , then they would get takers for MORE than that from every other club.

Yeah, I call shenanigans on this whole rumor. If the Roosters really wanted to ditch Angus they could walk next door to the ARU and trade him out in a heartbeat. Rugby would probably pay the full freight as well.
