Even give me 1 of them.

Cmon Souths time for our recruitment team to awaken.

Depending on what Sutto does we will need another reasonable/good forward.

Not sure yet on whether we need a prop or back rower.

Mitchell and/or Addo-Carr would be awesome!!

Dissapointed to hear that Gray is still going to be out for a while, I thought he'd be back sooner. We've still got Hunt coming back next week so that's a big plus.

I'm hearing there is a lot more to the Latrell Mitchell form drop. He and management apparently have had a dummy spit since the news broke of the Roosters serious interest in Tedesco. I think he was promised the fullback position once Gordon finished his one year commitment. Don't be surprised if Souths make inquiries. Also there is a rumor Addo-Carr wants to come back to Sydney and Souths are showing interest. I think Both players are outstanding prospects.

There will be a bidding war for both which will result in them being paid overs. Good luck to them

I like the sound of that!

Even if by end of season we ended up with the signatures of Graham and Mitchell that would be a huge positive moving forward for next season

Sths have found it very hard to attract quality over the past couple of years.

It's been either young players wanting a chance, older hacks wanting a lifeline or journeymen.

I have my theory on why that is so--I think you know!!

It's more likely to pan out with Tedesco at the Roosters & Mitchell at the Tigers!!!

A player like Mitchell will desire, & want, a free rein to play his natural game--NOT fit into a rigid game-plan!!

We may have a chance with Graham via the Pommy connection!

We do not need Graham unless he was on Cherrington money.
The twins , turner , Cherro , Zane with Sam and Clark as backup are fine.

As for rigid game plans , if a young player does not like game plans they can play in reserve grade or a bottom 4 team , which is what is happening to Mitchell now.

Would happily swap a twin for Graham, preferably George on current form.
I can't believe dogs are trying to sign Woods I don't dislike the guy but he is hugely overrated.

I would literally jizz if we got graham. He is still one of the best props in the game. He has agression, he has a bit of a passing game and he gets through so much work. Him and sam in the same club pack every week would be an exciting prospect. They'd spur each other on. Sam would not like being outplayed by james. And james wouldn't be afraid to tell sam when he goes through those lulls when he is just going through the motions that he needs to fire up. If we could somehow swap him for george, who can only give you 15 minutes and even then half the time it's bad, would be perfect. Sam and james in the middle with Turner to mop up the messes, chricton and sutton on the edges, clark, Musgrove and tom on the bench, Tyrrell, rochow, talaki, murray and cherrington for depth. Thats an exciting prospect in the pack

I would be happy if we got Mad Dog Graham for 1 of the twins. I would call him Rabid Rabbit Graham. You know it makes sense!

Would love Graham in the forward rotation but I'm not sure we really need to get rid of anyone just yet. If the cap is rising and we've already signed our big name players to contracts, who's to say we don't have a bit of money to throw around?

Plus if we let go of say, Tyrrell, Nielsen and a few other reserves, we very well could get him.

Aaron Woods could force me out of Belmore: Bulldogs captain James Graham

Canterbury captain James Graham admits his club's pursuit of Wests Tigers skipper Aaron Woods may push him out of Belmore.

The 31-year-old said he accepted the Bulldogs would be interested in the NRL's best players and would target Woods while he was at the peak of his powers.

"Why wouldn't the club go after him?" Graham told Fox Sports' NRL 360 in his weekly appearance on the program alongside Woods.

"That might mean that I might have to move on, whether that means this year or the year after, I'm not dumb enough or naive to think that might not happen."

But despite accepting his future at the Bulldogs is clouded, Graham says he hasn't spoken to coach Des Hasler or club boss Raelene Castle.

Speculation is rife about Woods and fellow off-contract Tigers fullback James Tedesco with Canterbury one of a host of clubs in the running to sign the duo.

Woods said the Tigers four-straight losses before their upset win over North Queensland last week made him delay his decision, which he wants to make with the "right mindset".

"I want to get it done in the next couple of weeks," Woods said.

"I want to get it sorted.

"I don't want to make an irrational decision when I'm angry. I want to put a lot of thinking through it."

The spotlight is on Woods and Tedesco after five-eighth Mitchell Moses signed with Parramatta, with Luke Brooks the only member of the club's "big four" to re-sign with the Tigers.

The Tigers denied Moses's request for an immediate release to join the Eels, with Woods asking his teammate to remain at the club in 2017.

"I really wanted Mitchell to commit for the rest of the year," Woods said.

"But I thought he handled himself really well on the weekend."

But Woods conceded Moses could yet make a mid-season move to Parramatta.

"He could be here for the rest of the year or he could be here for a week," Woods said

We've signed our big names but their wages will have raised in line with the expected cap rise. Don't be surprised if we have to unload players due to getting our expectations wrong.

What do we think Graham is worth?
He would be 32 before he ran out in the red and green.
He would be a great player to have in our leadership group.

Why would Graham be forced out of Bulldogs?

Simple , because he COSTS too much money and is getting older. Swapping one of our young twins for an old Graham plus the cost of Cherro and Clark ( that is my simple guess , as to money Graham currently on -- about $800-900k). Why else would Dogs force him out.

No salary cap , sure , i would swap Tyrell for him. However get real we do not need an ageing prop that would force us to push out our younger props. AS for breaking up the Burgess clan.....the twins for starters are still maturing and Tom currently playing better than George . Yet when George gets back to his best form , he is in the top echelon of props. I think there is great value in keeping the family together , however would consider it STUPID to break up the family for a last leg prop who is seen as too expensive by their current club.

If all it cost us was George then hell yea.
He would only have a year or 2 in him, but by the time he retired Musgrove will be ready to take over.
George has been on a downward slope since the gf. The interchange changes has had the most effect on him then any other prop, but he was already dropping off in 2015 before those changes came into effect. He is a player playing on goodwill off 2014. I know some people fear him going to another club and regaining his form, but I'd rather him do that then stagnate on the bench here at souths.

Are the twins off contract this season? They are due a pay cut and certainly a pay cut as a % of the new cap. Perhaps with the savings from those 2 on new deals we wouldn't even need to ship one out.
I wouldn't be upset if we did though, George certainly needs a kick up the arse I would rather see him playing in England and have some form in the red and white than sitting on our bench going through the motions.
