Looks like things are starting to take shape. Instead of Keary and McInnes proving Rusty was wrong at Coffs Harbour, in the end they proved him right. If Richo decide to offload those 2 at the end of the year, they only have themselves to blame. There is the possibility we could get Peats.

Grevs not named in first grade or reserves as the swap for a Jennings brother could be made within a few days
Peats management has been in touch with Richo as main preference is to remain in Sydney, talks are taking place with a possible out come of cook being forced to the Titans
Souths making a big play for Tedesco next year with the thought of Inglis staying at 5/8

Wasnt just over a month ago that word got out that Cook asked for a release to go back to the Dogs?
Well with Peats needing a new home if we could let that happen, we could then accommodate Peats into our squad nicely.

The Team list this week even suggest this could happen with Cook missing out completely. Like it or not McGuire loves McInnes's defense and thats what has won him the starting jersey.

Cook doesnt want to play backup to a kid and will still sulk playing behind Peats, so move him on and let McInnes come off the bench to play dummy half when Peats moves into the back row just as he does now for the Eels.

Was thinking of the grevs for jennings rumour when he wasn't named in the team. But people shouldn't expect much from george because of his name. He has been stuck in reserve grade for Penrith and has only played 5 games since debuting in early 2015
Cook to GC kinda makes sense if Peats doesn't want to move from sydney. GC are the favourites but may have to settle for a lesser player in cook.

Pretty sure means nothing and im questioning the salary cap practices at penrith especially if tamou goes there, so id keep quiet i would have moved grevs on before season started u have to question the commitment of a player who signs 2 years out. Pommy it popped up on a few sites and forums around the internet as he wasnt happy coming off the bench and not getting many minutes. Then the following game was when McGuire started him and it all went quiet.

Not sure how much truth was in all the talk, but selections obviously show the coach doesnt rate him.
