For the Warriors we've got 3 disallowed tries, a not given 40/20, a not given penalty for obstruction, a guy spear tackling himself, a try from a forward pass and a try awarded to the rabbitohs not referred to the video ref despite complaints of 'obstruction'.

And for Souths an appeal for a knock by Manu Vatuvei which wasn't even a knock on because he caught the ball before it hit the ground.

Hell I'm actually suprised I don't have more in the Warriors column but it turn out the video ref can get some calls right when he wants to....

So yes, your right the officiating was all over the place for BOTH teams...

The only part you could try claim that was for the penalities in general play that was all over the place for both teams.

he 40/20 was not clear cut, hence the ref asking for the video ref to intervene. It was a 50/50 call. You didn't get it. We would of felt aggreived if it went against us.

Your last three 'complaints' are not worthy of discussion. Robinson was all over us to the point I thought he was going to penalise us in every tackle.

I could say we were robbed in the last video ref call. It was a 50/50 call that we didn't get.

The calls evened themselves out in the end.

The 40/20 call seemed very odd to me. The touch judge seemed to indicate that he felt it was a 40/20 but the referee ended up getting the video ref to check it. The replays I was seeing weren't terribly conclusive one way or the other so I don't understand why they didn't just go with the touchie's call.

The McKinnon call was just baffling too. I've seen a few odd decisions, but the Warriors getting penalised after McKinnon apparently caused the Souths players to spear tackle him was a classic!

Overall I think the Warriors got the worst of the decisions, but Souths copped some bad ones too so I'd say it was more to do with incompetence than bias.

touchie had his flag up 19.5 mtrs from the goal line.

worst decision for me (and there was a heap to chose from) skinny byrnne penalised for tackling the rabbitoh in the air. they were both going for the ball, both missed it,, what was he supposed to do, find a sky hook and stay up there ?

I was sitting practically in line with the 20m line so got a great view of the 40/20 call, the touchie seemed confident enough so why the ref had to go upstairs was beyond me. I got a pretty good view ofthe Byrne call too and that was almost as bad. But hey we got the win and the moment of ecstasy at the end made the frustration earlier worth it!

I thought the Byrne call was ok, ge missed the ball then grabbed him in mid-air - penalty.

The 40:20 was strange, 50:50 for mine but the touchie seemed clear, and the camera angle wasn't helpful.

The video ref calls were weird, both teams got robbed there IMO - the Warriors moreso.

McKinnon was lucky not to be binned the way he carried on - pork chop.

In the end, justice was done with the Warriors winning.

When will Wayne Pearce get the chop, he's embarrassing and offensive

I don't mind about the Byrne thing not being given a try. What I do mind is Hegarty deliberately bumping Byrne off the ball and preventing him getting a fair jump, hence why he grabbed Merritt as the consolation prize. I never liked Hegarty, and he's one of the worst at doing it.

on the 40/20, why do the refs go to the video ref in that instance, i thought they were told they could only use it for tries or foul play, another thing thats been inconsistent. Warriors were easily the better side yesterday.

I can't believe Pearce. From the 20 minute mark he's been going on about how tired the Warriors are and now he's going on an on about how much character Souths have and how great Taylor is for picking his troops up at half time for the second half. Give me a break.

Well done to the Warriors, to come back like you did was a great effort. We clearly need to fix our last tackle options, they where abysmal.

On the officiating, it was a joke for both sides. Those that are arguing that it all went one way are kidding themselves.
