Was he actually offside? I wasn't paying attention during the replay. I was still in shock that the ref awarded the try straight up. Although it would explain Byrne getting to the ball first.

To those arguing the legitimacy of the last Souths try - put a sock in it:

1. You won.

2. It was a completely legal try. All players were onside, no offside players came within 10 metres of the ball, there were no obstructions and the final ball was propelled backwards.

Witt had a decent game, kick or no kick. That intercept pass didn't help, but I still thought he was solid. He seemed to chew up the metres when kicking for touch and his drop-outs were pretty good too.

Nathan Fien's try was a TRY.
Jeremy Smith's try was a TRY.

Both were disallowed.

David Fa'alogo's try was given a TRY, but was debatable - Merritt knocked it on.
Todd Byrne's try was given a TRY, but was debatable - Byrne can't outrun Sattler, how does he outrun Merritt?

In the end, fair result.

Unbelievable!. Warriors should have won 30-0 if it wasnt for the stupid ref, atrocious, but it doesn't matter i guess, bloody entertaining game. Steve Price was unbelievable he just never stops. Go the Warriors, easily my 2nd fav team this year.
