I'll be there mate, along with a few other Raiders fans from the GH. Bay and matt are too slack to come along. ;-) The LU boys are letting us down!

Yup, I've been reading the GH so I'm looking forward to seeing those guys too. Pity thickos isn't here, we went to last year's trial in Ipswich (you need safety in numbers out there).

Bay, for what its worth I agree with you re: Furner. It angers me when I realise we knocked back Bennett to go with Furner. I will allow him some grace initially, but if we arent top 8 this year then he hasnt done his job. This is the best Raiders squad in many years and we cant fly under the radar anymore. With current Aust reps and SOO reps we will be analysed far more than we have in prior years.

Yea I think we have a squad with plenty of depth ... maybe not a star studded roster but definetely one that should be able to more than mix it and survive the inevitable injuries that will plague any club.

Does Dave Furner have what it takes ??? ... time will tell but again I repeat that it was a risk that was taken by management for obvious reasons.

Just about every 2008 member would have signed up by now ... some will not have and some newbies will have been particularly attracted by the many ads on local TV ...

... there will be a late rush when the season is a couple of weeks out whence people realise that the footy season is just around the corner ... I estimate that to be 10 approx 10% .... and that is where my prediction of 3.5K comes into the picture ... you've got buckleys marko, just admit it

Still some 48 days or so until the season kicks off, only need 300 to surpass your mark

I'm going to make a completely baseless assumption and say that 15% of our entire memberships will be signed up in the last 2 weeks
