The Howell boys are great young players and even better in the years to come. :(

Both for two seasons. Great additions to the squad but it adds more pain for 2006 player retention - that list is bordering on the ridiculous

This buy is not bad at all, compared to one of our previous one of Russo. Our backs depth is amazing but will make it hard for us to keep all of them. Hopefully we can develop a young prop to become our next Davico

it is indeed but ive got a theory on that

realistically we are a better side than were we currently sit, hence if improvements arnt made by 06 i think the club can do a clean out and keep those who they need to, then they will have the cash to make plays at whom ever they like

i assume germ, schif, rhino, mogg and hindy are all dead certs to be tried to re-signed... the rest can be decided apon based on weather they are in our futures best intrests

at least thats what im hoping

Earl, seriously, what is your deal? Sometimes you troll in here, other times you post good things. Are you a Raiders fan or not?

I can't say I have even ever noticed the Howell brothers before.... the coach was on WIN TV news tonight saying how great the signings are and how the club has been trying to organise it for ages...... I guess we will see.

David Howell re-signed with the Dragons last year for 3 years so obviously he's been released. When he's played first grade this year he's been found out in defence. He tends to come in when he's not needed. He's gotten a bit bigger but he doesn't use his size. Most of the time submits in tackles. As a Dragons fan I'm not that unhappy about loosing him. Although he's brilliant under the high ball.

Michael Howell was looking extremely good a couple of years ago until in one of his first, first grade games he cracked his skull. He took some time to regain confidence after this but finally made it back. His main problem is brain explosions. Has been suspended a few times for striking. A coulpe of years ago I would of been extremely disappointed to loose this guy but not so at the moment. Maybe the change in clubs will do him the world of good.

I honestly mean it when i say it great to have a fan f another team come in and make an honest post. Thanks mate. Hopefully the change of clubs will help them, and they can get over their weaknesses. They'll need to get over them if they want a spot, cos they sure will be fighting for it

I Bleed Green said:
greeneyed, no offence, but you'd never be happy with any signing unless it was Darren Lockyer.....
From what the dragons supporter has said I tend to agree with greeneyed.

Comments from rorters supporters would indicate that Ale is a good prospect and Goodwin may be a good signing as well.

IMO it now all comes down to Frawley ... if we get his signature it will more than make up for the f**ckup" with monas.

these guys are alright signings.

i'm sure they'll do well. it might take them a bit to adjust, but they'll be alright i reckon.

Is this the first time ever that one club has signed two brothers on the same day?

The join the Walters', Kelly's and Monaghans as Raiders 'brothers in arms' - good stuff
