I felt the raiders didn't play too well but you can only play to what's in front of you and at certain stages of that there wasn't much...

poor old souths. they hung in there but just werent good enough and gave away far too many stupid penalties that gave the raiders great field position. losing sutton to a chest injury at the end of the first half didnt exactly do wonder for south's attack. good effort from the rabbits.
the raiders turned into the canberra globe trotters in the second. how many offloads were they getting off? in some instances it was ridiculous.

The penalty count was 8-2 to the rabbits. 30 minutes later was 9-9. I guess souths fans didnt like the square up.

I don't know if I can tip Souths again, they never seem to win when they're favourites.

A good effort from both teams and some stinging defence

There was absolutley nothing wrong with either tackle.

Especially Weyman's tackle. Neither tackler was anywhere near the head & there was no head slam. It was pretty strange.

As for MacDougall's tackle, just a good shoulder charge. If you think there was something wrong with it then you can definatly be accused of double standards because Smith also did a shoulder charge to the nose of Luke MacDougall. Both were sickening blows, but by the current interpretaions of the rules, both legal.
