This time last year it would have seemed laughable to suggest it, but with Turbo in doubt and Latrell set to miss 8 weeks the Blues need to find a new centre pairing.

There really aren't that many out there to choose from. What odds Jesse has been shortlisted?

The only others I can think of who would be in the conversation are Stephen Crichton, Bradman Best and Kotoni Staggs.
The latter two are media darlings so might be ahead there but, on current form, I think Jesse's pretty short odds.

It was brought up last week on one of the TV shows, he may have declared for NZ, I think I heard that, which nullifies his eligibility. Not 100% sure though. He did play for the Junior Kiwis.

I'd probably have Jessie on par with the other two though, possibly even ahead of them.

Chad loved the inside pass to Nikora, which was so predictable that it failed 99 times out of 100.

Yep, we’ve been calling for him to get early ball for ages so it’s good to finally see a coach giving him what he needs to succeed.

Ramien has shown what a weapon he really can be in the last 2 games but it is only the 2 games , i'd like to see a lot more of this form out of him for us first before i worry about whether he is a SOO chance .
