Very interesting day. I voted no vote because I knew I'd be MIA in real life for the rest of the evening. But reading through the posts was curious.

I think a few people exposed themselves.

I think 9701 might be bad, the original suggestion of him was flukey but the way several panicked. It didn't seem like we were onto a townie. A couple of them were shouting about us rushing to lynch him when it had been hours. It wasn't a quick lynch and they were making it seem like a runaway train.

That's my theory anyway.

It must of made you all warm and gooey inside to see me close to a lynch.

Who panicked? KTF made mention that he thought the lynch was based on nothing. I made the point that 9701's play seemed pretty normal for him. What are we supposed to do, just vote because everyone is piling on? Say nothing and be accused of lurking?

Hogg jumping off is a little different. He had jumped on, then when the lynch stalled got off. Hardly panic though.

Evidence and suspicion was laid both ways, with one side surviving. It's better we got discussion out of that phase, instead of follow the leader lemmings shit.

Time is irrelevant. When you get a succession of votes without any form of discussion based off nothing then it's a quick lynch. Measure it in posts, not time.

Time is the issue. Quick lynches don't allow for investigator types to come forward with alternate/better suggestions. There was many hours so it wasn't some orchestrated takedown of 9701.
