Not really. The win record after a coach is sacked is less than 50%. There's a reason the coach gets sacked, because teams are a shambles. That doesn't get fixed in one week. You generally get a lift in effort, but it doesn't fix the things that causes the coach to get sacked in the first place.
Warriors blew that one themselves. They handed the Dogs too much and Dogs took it. Not a lot else to say.
Losing Matulino to injury was a big game changer too imo. Peyroux is fairly average and having him where Matulino was killed some momentum on that side. Our bench hooker being forced to play lock because of a second injury didn't help either. Shit happens, it was a far more positive game than the previous losses this year which were predictable from about minute 1 when the lack of effort was obvious.
