Elsewhere, Tobias Funke and the Loch Ness Monster both tried to recruit one another - one of them for the Odd Sea Creatures and one of them for shits and giggles.

And the Mantis Shrimp tore the contract into tiny little pieces.

As day dawned, it became clear that there would be no denying victory to the Odd Sea Creatures.

Tobias Funke (JM), Mantis Shrimp (Smiley), and Leafy Sea Dragon (KeepingTheFaith) could not be put down as there could be no majority.

"Bow before me, O Land Dwellers!" cried Tobias Funke as he stood atop a rock, "For this is the end of your bipedal and quadripedal domination! Today begins the age of the ocean!"

A few of them rolled their eyes. No amount of glittery mermaid costume could make Tobias Funke a sea creature.

"This is madness!" Nessie cried as she was wrestled towards the gallows, "This should be my victory!"

Seals, dolphins, octopuses, sharks, and squid began to mark/flop their way onto land. They were in charge now.

Game Over.

The Odd Sea Creatures have won. They were:

You’re the bumbling, fumbling, lovable idiot who married into the Bluth family and provided much of Arrested Development’s hilarity.

- Tobias Funke, Leather Daddy: You’re an assless chaps wearing leather daddy. Each night you may PM me the name of a player to sexually intimidate. There is a 33% chance you’ll roleblock them, a 33% chance you’ll learn their alignment, and a 33% chance you’ll accidentally kill them.
- Tobias Funke, Analrapist: You’re the first every analrapist. You may call a census.
- Tobias Funke, Failed Actor: You turn your talent for acting toward helping the town. Each night you may PM me the name of a player to imitate. You’ll learn their power (and be able to use it the next night). If you’re investigated while using another player’s power, you’ll appear as them.

You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

You're adorable and leafy and pretty much every Greens voter's favourite thing in the world. You're also pure evil.

- Innocent Appearance: If investigated, you'll show up as a harmless sea creature and town aligned.
- Disguise: You may choose to disappear at night, meaning you'll be immune to 75% of actions. However, doing this will mean you cannot vote during the ensuing day phase.

Your fellow mafia members are Smiley (Mantis Shrimp) and Rebel (Loch Ness Monster).

Smiley and KTF's original roles were:

Smiley was Wile E Coyote, Town Aligned ACME Shareholder.

You’ve been chasing that pesky Road Runner so long now that you thought it was time for a change of pace. You’ve now turned your hand to trying to catch the mafia.


- Booby Trap: Each night you may set up a booby trap. It will have a random effect from the below:
- The person targeting you is killed.
- The person targeting you is role-blocked and silenced.
- You die.
- The person targeting you has their identity revealed to you.
- You and your target die.
- The trap fails spectacularly.
- Lure: You know a thing or two about getting a target to go where you want them. Each night in which you set up a booby trap, you may force a player to target you.
- Catch Mafia: If you are able to kill a threat using your traps (or by leading a lynch on a threat who you previously targeted), you’ll be immune to the next kill attempt (including from your own trap).


You win when all threats to the town are eliminated or you kill four threats.

KTF was Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, Town Aligned Time Travel Role.

You’re three different days, which means you get three different abilities.


- Yesterday: Undo the previous phase. It will start over as if it had never happened.
- Today: You may PM me once during the game to ask me if the current lynch will be good or bad for the town. If a threat will die as a result of the lynch, I will tell you it is good. If there is any other outcome (beyond unforeseeable power related changes), I will tell you it is bad.
- Tomorrow: At the end of the current night phase, I will send you a complete list of actions (without player identities).
- Abstract Concept: You’re a concept, not a person or thing. You cannot be killed at night.

Bazzi was the Sentient Mustache, Hipster Fashion Aligned Sign of Manliness.

You’re not just any mustache; you’re the ruler of all mustaches and obviously the most amazing looking one there is. Good show!
- Symbiotic: All mustaches need someplace to grow. At the beginning of the game, nominate a player to grow on. You cannot be killed as long as they’re alive. In addition, investigation attempts against you have a 75% chance of returning your host’s information instead. Census will turn up two members of the Hipster Fashion alignment – yourself and your host.
- Control: Each night you will learn what your host does. On any night, you may choose to take control of their action instead.
- Dazzle: If you do not wish to use your host’s ability, you can instead dazzle somebody with your amazingness. The player you target will be unable to act.
- Switch: At any point during the game you may attempt to switch hosts. There is a 50% chance this will work. You cannot use this ability if your original host dies. You can switch during a lynch in progress.
- Communicate: At any point during the game, you may choose to complete indoctrinate your host. You will be able to communicate with them and act as a faction. If you do this, you can no longer switch hosts.


You win if you (and your host, if need be) are the only survivors.

afinalsin666 was the Ten Commandments, Town Aligned Set of Arbitrary Rules.

Born into the world by chisel and hammer, you’re the foundation upon which a whole religion (and a bunch of religious intolerance) were built. Carried into battle by Moses, you’re here to prove religious might is right.


- Commandments: You have ten single use abilities. Each night you MUST select one to put into action.
* I am the Lord thy God: Any actions that target you on this night will fail. Additionally, you will learn any actions that target you that night and who targeted you.
* Thou shalt have no other gods before me: Any cult recruitment attempts on this night will fail. Additionally, the cult leader will be made vulnerable to kill attempts and lynches for the night phase and ensuing day phase.
* Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image: Anybody who posts an image in the thread tonight or tomorrow will have 1 vote against their name.
* Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: Anybody cursing or taking the Lord’s name in vain will be silenced and have a vote against their name.
* Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy: Passive ability. You will survive the first attempt against your life.
* Honour thy mother and thy father: Nominate two players as the mother and the father. On this night, they cannot be killed. Additionally, the mother’s vote will count double tomorrow and the father will be given a one off kill. You cannot nominate yourself.
* Thou shalt not kill: All kills action on this night have a 50% chance of failing.
* Thou shalt not commit adultery: Select two players. They will sleep together tonight and cannot act. They will also be unable to vote tomorrow.
* Thou shalt not steal: Target player’s ability tonight is replaced with “Steal target player’s power. You may use it for yourself during the next night phase”.
* Thou shalt not wear false witness against thy neighbor: If tomorrow’s lynch would kill a town aligned player, it will fail.
* Thou shalt not covet: During an ongoing lynch, nominate a player (via PM) to replace a player currently being voted for. All further votes for the player being voted for will instead go towards the player you chose.

Rebel was the Loch Ness Monster, Odd Sea Creatures Aligned Plesiosaur.

Arguably the most famous sea creature in the world, you’ve aligned yourself with a number of other odd sea creatures in hopes of making the world your own. No more annoying Scots trying to see you while you’re trying to relax!
- Elusive: You’re renowned for being elusive. You cannot be targeted for any ability aside from a kill. Kill attempts against you have a 50% chance of failing.
- Fascinating: You’re a world famous icon. Each night you may choose to reveal yourself to a player of your choice. They’ll be unable to act as they try and snap photos of you.

Your fellow mafia members are Chocolate Starfish, Vladimir Putin, and Crixus the Vampire Squid.

how did I lose my votes when it says in KTF that it would be as if the phase had never happened....... so I had never traded in my points for votes.

good game even if poor old jocks were in too strong a position so there needed to be an adjustment which finished us off. PP picking KTf to offload to means KTF had to be lynched to kill of PP and in turn kill me off.

Well done winners.

PS I almost went for the lynch of KTF.

Phase reversals don't reverse powers, typically. I can't un-send information from investigates or undo cult recruits, so it makes sense to not undo any actions that were expended.

I honestly didn't think recruiting Rebel would achieve anything, but bloody hell am I glad I tried anyway. Best move I've ever pulled. :lol:
