We're down to the last twelve men and there are none left to enter as we get down to the home stretch of this year's inaugural Random Royal Rumble.
"Who will take it home?" asks JR to the fans at home, "Will it be Angle or Goldberg? Hart or Vicious? Raven or Wrath? Or will the Phenom win his second Royal Rumble?"
"It's worth noting that he and Hart are the only guys in there that have won it before," observes McMahon, "And Hart had to share his win with Lex Luger".
The first elimination doesn't take long to eventuate. Fuerza Guerrera bites (or kicks) off more than he can chew when he goes after the Undertaker. He eats a chokeslam for his troubles and is unceremoniously ejected by the Dead Man.

La Sombra leaps (literally) to the defense of his fellow luchadore with what might have been an attempted plancha, but finds himself caught mid-air by the Phenom. He's flipped... TOMBSTONE!
Taker has his eyes on the prize here and out goes La Sombra!
