Randy Orton Suspended

Sounds like he's heading towards being the biggest wasted talent of all time. If he had his head on straight he'd be the best superstar on SmackDown.

Though I would be pretty mad if I had to job out to Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania when 6 months earlier I was promised a Royal Rumble win and WHC win at WM. Even though it was in character, he was right, Rey is a charity case.

I think it's ridiculous of him to act this way. He's already been Champion - Rey hasn't, and his work ethic probably indicates he should get a run as Champion however short.

Randy Orton Speaks Out On His Suspension

Reported by Andy Steven on 04/07/2006

From WWE.com: Randy Orton responds to being suspended

Prior to SmackDown this past Tuesday, Randy Orton was told that he was being suspended for 60 days due to unprofessional conduct. WWE.com recently caught up with Orton to get his reaction to his suspension. Here is what he had to say:

"WWE has certain standards of conduct they expect out of all the Superstars on both RAW and SmackDown. Unfortunately, I violated those standards and was not representing WWE the way I should have been. Basically, my conduct was unbecoming of a champion, which is what I will be again when I return."

Disagree. Rey deserves thios reign, the crowd is way over with him. Randy is still young and will get plenty of WHC/WWE title reigns. Now is Rey's time and Randy should learn not to be such a spoilt brat half the time!

while i don't 100% agree with rey rey being champ, i do agree that this is his time and it's reward for many a years hard work....imo he will most likely never win the gold again, so i say, let him enjoy this while he can

Some more news concerning the Orton Suspension:
Some more details have become available regarding Randy Orton's recent 60 day suspension from WWE. According to reports, Orton's conduct backstage at WrestleMania 22 came into question and that he violated a rule (possibly the dress code) that made it seem as if he didn't care because "he is Randy Orton." That is initially the way it come off to many wrestlers and WWE staff.

Many within the company continue to question Orton's maturity level and that he continues to carry himself as a full blown main eventer in the company. Some wrestlers have described Orton as always bragging about how he is "god's gift to women" and showing blatant disrespect towards women around wrestlers. Others have described Orton as being someone directly opposite of a locker room leader and some are hoping this minor suspension will wake him up to his surroundings.

It should be noted that Orton is not well liked at all in the SmackDown locker room and The Undertaker (who is one of the locker room leaders on SmackDown) reportedly despises Orton. Veterans on both the RAW and SmackDown brand that have been around Orton also don't like him as well. Individuals such as Ric Flair and Kurt Angle have even made it clear on many occassions that they don't like the way Orton handles himself. The general feeling is that WWE management making the decision to suspend Orton shows other wrestlers that even top guys can be punished for the way they act.

Maybe he slept with Lita. If that was the case then half the Roster would be on a 60 day suspension as well

If that were true, a 60-day suspension wouldn't be all they got...

I remember only couple of years back when the undertaker, refused to follow the dress code and went on about characters, and got away with it.

The Undertaker must be one to condemn Orton as stated above the dress code violation. The undertaker wouldnt be offside due to Ortons dad forgeeting he has hepatitits,

And the Undertake what a big worker he is compared to Orton, Orton carried taker in his matches

It's a shame, though. He's a really talented bloke...Randy, please don't ruin your career before it has the chance to truly take off!
