Just got back from watching Ant-Man and was a pretty decent movie, nothing special but far from boring. Got me to thinking how it stacks up to the other marvel movies so ranked them from worst to best.

Really? Even the first one?
I put it as my number 1, so obviously I'm a fan. It got that perfect mix of comedy and action, without going too over the top.

I really liked Iron Man 3 as well. I know it has been derided by a whole lot of people (especially people who hated the Mandarin twist), but I enjoyed it. It was a bit different having Tony without the suit for so long, having to rely on his brains to get him out of situations because his intelligence is his real superpower.

But yeah, Iron Man 2 sucked.

The Mandarin twist was a huge blunder, but it was definitely not the only problem.
It's astounding how many plot holes it had.

Especially Avengers 2. Such a great idea squandered.

I think Avengers 2 went 20-30 minutes too long plus they had a great chance to kill off a main lead actor like Iron Man or someone of that importance.
The person/hero they killed off was such a piss-take killing with not much importance.. (Trying to not spoil)

Not all of these guys will last til the end so I think it was a missed opportunity especially being an Avengers film.
I hope Cap 3 is a great movie especially with the super-hero overload it will have.

I just can't stand Iron Man as a hero. He bores me.

Downey, Jr. was excellent - I'll give him that.

They weren't able to kill off iron man because he's an integral part of Civil War
