I also missed the game, was the weather a factor?
What happened to Miller?

Definitely the rain didnt help with the slippery conditons but you play to the conditions. Still some bad passes, pushed passes and dropped ball. Dont know what happened to Miller.

I have to say as Sheens persists with a wing / centre on the bench I really miss having Danny Galea in the squad. He could happily play both centre and backrow as needed. Not many of those players around now.

we do put up bombs, usually from 45 metres out

They usually land 50 metres out as well...

I was pretty stoked to get the win, and most of our guys played well. Particularly good to see Benji do some great things and Ayshford was tops.

we were shit

the cowboys looked better but just kept dropping the ball

in the end it was just benji's class that got us home.

ellis, groat and lawerence were good. lawrence was very well contained by tate who showed he still has plenty of class. lawrence ran some great lines and would have made some breaks against a lesser ceneter.

I think the rain helped us, we had to rein it in a bit to improve our completions - wet weather footy was the go and we held it more than them

We were solid and that is all that was required to beat the Cowboys. We need to beat the Roosters next week as we have Manly and Dragons coming up.

Actually thought Farah had one of his better games without being fantastic. Lui, well I've been saying it for months........! have been a fan of Fifita but he seems so disinterested in attack and defence that his place must certainly be under the microscope

We had all the ball early and the game went with possession as it always dose. Cows without JT,Scott and Bolton were always going to struggle. We were just okay at best

Had JT, Scott and Bolton all played I feel it would have been a different story, but you can only play who you are up against and it was great to get a win.

What pleased me most was our kicking game - in the second half it was pretty good, which is more than I can usually say.

However, we still have the same old issues as always:

- Trying to score off every play i.e running it on the 5th tackle in the first set of the second half
- Poor 5th tackle options, especially in the first half

Again, without Benji steering the ship we would be a rabble.

still too often we kick straight to the backs on the full.

Farah and Benji did a lot more kicking in the second half and things improved dramatically.

Everything Lui did turned to shit.

I liked the bit where Lui kicked it dead from over halfway and the commentators went on about what a great tactic it was
