Good stuff Thierry. Knowing a cool cat such as yourself also loves this song confirms that I have an infallible ear for hott music. Which is more than I can say for the preening "pop is crap" poseurs out there.

As Casey Donovan's lack of success has shown, success is completely dependant on having the right look. If you delude yourself into believing the music is actually credible, well I'm sorry but you're depriving yourself of the infinite quality that's available if you're willing to actually turn off the radio or MTV and find something yourself. There is a lot of good music out there - none of it is on Video Hits.

If we're actually going on vocal talent, she's clearly an 8 or so. She has a great voice.

If we're going on the quality of her lyrics and such, well, that's another story. People giving her a 1 or 2 are just being stupid. I'd reserve a 1 or 2 for Roseanne.
